There is no fault with Turkey in this relationship. The problem is google. They have to present a choice menu to choose default search engine by users. They are not doing it and in my opinion they are in force by US goverment. They are doing exactly what they say in my opinion. I condemn google. #google is not the boss of the world.

Any country or corporation, even an individual, is welcome to create their very own mobile OS. All it takes is to grab a Linux core, customize for whatever hardware you have on hand, write a few million lines of code, and you're set. If lazy people prefer using someone else's creation then I don't have a problem when they are forced to obey rules of whoever created the product. Don't like it? Don't use it. When you complain that Google only wants to sell ads you need to realize that it is their business model. You get your toys for free, yet in return you have to watch the ads and be tracked. Again, if you don't like it then use a different product.

But as of la... moreGoogle has become the same as Microsoft back when it was the only OS and service provider available on computers. Google was like the liberator and the bringer of freedom, but now it just uses it's dominant position to force a lot of people to use its services.
Anyway, never used Google search for more than 8 years now (even on android, my default search is not google), and I really don't miss it. Still using some of the services, but nothing good can come by putting all the eggs in the same basket.

This is just another proof that Google has long removed the "no" from their "Do no evil" slogan, they've become one of the most greedy and malevolent companies.
I applaud for the decision of the Turkish court, to stand up against Google.

Once upon a time, Google was a decent company. But as of late, it is one of the most controversial & despicable companies out there. I hate the fact that i have to choose between Android or iOS, two subpar OS from two of the worst companies out there. We certainly need more competition out there. (Currently it's not even a competition, because iOS is limited to Apple products, and Android is practically on every single smartphone that isn't made by Apple).
