This is really a huge mistake by xiaomi to indroducing google dialer and messaging app as default. It has made the phone so cheap. Now why i should buy xiaomi phone? any special reason without these two feature? No. So then xiaomi should bring it back as soon as possible. If not so at least put the apps in the playstore

Xiaomi should release an update for POCO M3 to remove google dialer and it's messaging App . Google Dialer is the worst calling App with no auto call recording. I'm very disappointed after buying POCO M3 due to its Google dialer. If Xiaomi doesn't remove Google dialer from its global version then definitely this is my last Xiaomi phone.

Please give us the MIUI dialler and message app... This Google app is the worst I just got this phone and it's very disappointing. The Redmi phones are the best phone so far. You guys were so unique I don't know why you chose Google apps to be part of your devices.

If only , like many who commented, horrible google dialer contacts and no call recording, i wont have gotten a poco x3 pro and service centre asked to hard reset, it took me 2 days to back up via tfr my pix, uses third party sms call back up and after hard reset, it is WORST. Many contacts went missing, having problem savings contacts!

I personally really dislike google launcher. I prefer MIUI dialer app. I just got my poco x3 pro and very disappointed with the google launcher. If known earlier surely i won't purchased. Xiaomi fold with google launcher ? really a meh......

I agree with all of you. I was excited to get the Mi 11 but, when I discovered it uses Google for Contacts and Messages and has no call recording, I was tempted to switch back to my 5 and a half year old Mi Note Pro.
As much as I used to love Xiaomi, this Mi 11 will be my last Xiaomi cellphone unit if Xiaomi doesn't ditch Google and start using Miui again for its Contacts, caller and call recording.

Are you serious that the latest Xiaomi phones don't have call recording now? As a person who does sales, and receives and gives instructions over the phone, this is an absolutely essential feature for me, and the reason I'm using a Xiaomi phone now. Absolutely a deal breaker for me without this feature.

I keep getting pop ups to update to google messaging.
No way to turn it off!! I want less Google. Not more.
I hate how Google weaponizes everything, having an android is bad enough as it is.

It can be a very cre... moreJust so you know, in Spain it's 100% legal (and sometimes encouraged) to record calls with your boss whenever you see that "something's wrong" (workplace bullying, illegal stuff, etc.). It's totally legal and can be used in court.

I don't want to use the horrible google dialer and messaging app.
Last day i sold my Old Xiaomi Phone to buy new device. But, now i lost my own settings because of horrible google dialer and msg.
I promise I will not continue use Xiaomi phones again. 🥺
