Compact phone? WTF he screen might be of only 4.7" but with those humongous bezels we are speaking about a phone of 6" if not more.
Look I understand people claiming IPhones to be the best, they definitely have power to claim that tittle with, but this phone is a 4 year old phone that's bean sold for nearly as much as a flagship killer or a bit old flagship, only because its Apple...

As we here all this rumours about SE2 leaks this won't b a great value for money phone bcz nower days everybody prefer for full screen and apple switching back to old days with big bezels will not inspire much when all other brands have fully dumped bezels permanently with fever cost.......

HOW do you people do not understand it.
WE, the target audience of this product, DON'T CARE.
You can have all your quad cameras, big batteries, speedy cpus, etc.
We want a phone that we can hold in one hand and operate it with COMFORT. Without using the second hand, without readjusting it in hand with risk of dropping it, without annoying software crutches.
It doesn't matter. Your argument just does not matter.
I'm upgrading from my iph 8 in 2021, when se2 will drop in price a bit.

Just buy Xiaomi Redmi note 8 pro for double less cash or Mi 9T Pro again for less money...
Both of them are far better than this ancient freaking sh*t!!!
Even budget Nokia 2.3 has better design, got dual cameras and better body-screen ratio...

It doesn't range from single core to octacore.
The slowest Android phones launched in the last 3 years had a quad core at least. Even TV's have at least a quad core ARM cpu.
Also the lowest end Android phones run Android Go and the light version of most apps so OEMs don't have to make the low end phones run on standard Android and modify softer.
I don't know what questionable storage space you are talking about but low end phones use eMMC storage so what's so questionable?
Most low end Samsung phones do support SD Card expansion, you got it totally wrong.

But wallet preparing? I mean, dob't make me start with who should prepare his wallet, cause it ain't an android user, no matter what device. From repair to software to enviroment, everything is actually better and cheapper...

The trapped people already going for the look. Its the same with sony, also this device. If you dont have a positive opinion just dont write it down. The phone looks good, it looks like a phone, not with milion cameras and 99% display on the front. A phone should look like a phone and not a curved display with minimal alu frame and popped out lens protection. Go for smasung or huawei if you want the look, also prepare your wallet to repair the display every half year.

Most 2019 Android flagships are overall an upgrade vs an iphone 8 plus in terms of performance. The A11 throttles like no tomorrow when pushed a little, even the Snapdragon 845 manages to beat it when this happens.

The XR sold well because it's available at almost any carries and in most of the world. Also Apple did a lot promotions throughout the 2019 to move more units when iphone sales were obviously declining, especially in China where they even decreased the pice of iphones to make them more competitive. The XR was 2019's cheapest "new iphone", the Xs, Xs Max and 11 Pro and Pro Max, Apple's flagships, sold quite poorly.
So individually of course the XR sold better than most other Android phones sold individually simply because these Android phones don't have the same world wide availability but overall Apple was Nr. 3 sales units in 2019 with a second year o declined sales.
