Whackcar, 29 Jan 2020https://www.gsmarena.com/newscomm-41015p2.php#1987137 I ... moreThe 64MP current available does not support 8K.
Resolution is not enough.
Cmos has to support too.
Most of them support only 4k 30/60.
Few can do 4k90.

None knew Samsung would make a new bayer cmos when they had quadbayer one.

Pajson89, 29 Jan 2020Thats why theres xiaomi Xiaomi phones have subpar build quality, their MIUI is a mess recently, and they place ads in their notification bar. But I have to say my X2 Pro is also showing ads, though not very intrusive for me.

Still don't believe they can push 10x optical zoom inside a phone.

As always there will be some last minute announcement explaining how it's actually 5x optical, 20x digital, resulting in 100x.

I had predicted that they will use the high-resolution cam for 8K video, and some dude argued that i was wrong. I wonder what that dude thinks right now.

Anyway, i am intrigued by the non-bayer sensor. That i wasn't expecting. Samsung might just impress me this year. Let's see.

Cant believe Samsung is that dumb.
There is no point of having 8K if you cant use all focal lengths.
                          It probably is 80mm.

Mobile phones get more expensive every year, around $100-$200 more than the year before. No wonder why today I was at the underground and hundreds of passengers were holding Samsung phones from 2014-2017 and some others with iPhones from 2016.
I always notice the guys wearing suits and look "premium" and "first-class" they always seem to have the latest iPhone.

Elite people for Elite Phones. The era where flagships were affordable to everyone is long gone !
