Probably the same sensor size as the Galaxy S20. Both have dual pixel autofocus. Captures more than 80% more light per time than the typical 24mm² sensor + f/1.8 combination. But in the end the image processing is much more important.

Sorry ... moreIts not just about the 8 bit. The overall results outcome, speaks for themselves. Iphone video recording are that good. Neither previous Xperia 1 or other android comes close. Maybe this new 1ii will, maybe not.

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2020Unfortunately, these 5G NR frequencies will not work in the... moreTmobile their network is currently only low band 5g. That is why I think it will work. It is still a 5g flavor, though most consider "mmwave" the real 5g, but it has distance limitations.
With Tmobile buying Sprint, I think it can be a good option. Tmboile mentioned they would ultimately add Sprint their midband 5G spectrum again sub-6.

Cinema Pro does a few things very differently than stock Camera app and I'm not talking about the actual features but image stabilization, exposure, and dynamic range.

Kind of weird that you need to stare at blurry static image in order to avoid motion blur.

The price is right as the people buy the iphone who has nothing and same with the samsung. At least, Sony used what they do on other professional names they own who are big alone and make money for the company.

I'm curious about the 5g support. It states it supports sub-6, does this mean it will work on Tmobile its low band network?
It could be quite attractive if it did. Low band spectrum won't be the fastest, but still better than lte and already rolled out across most of the US.
