Shanti Dope, 13 Mar 2020Yes because Sony has already proved how a great battery opt... moreclearly we see who the blind fanboy is. xperia 1 has higher resolution screen indeed, but it is a fact that the screen will only go as high as 4k if you are feeding it 4k content, otherwise it is 1080p by default. it is also a fact that xperia 1's screen is quite dim (i have experienced it myself compared to just your theories). are these the optimizations that you are talking about? gs10 is almost 2x brighter than xperia 1, and its screen stays at QHD regardless of the content you are feeding it. it is also not true that xperia 1 outlasted gs10 as the fact is they were tied at 79h endurance rating. i am not defending gs10 here, just pointing out to you that you are the blind fanboy who will never see the weaknesses of sony. i admit i was a samsung fan before, but i also admit that i was a fan as well of sony before. at the moment, i am not a fan of any oem but i hate both samsung and apple.

Lets test that fan on, shall we?

When will 144Hz become normal for TV?

Waiting to see what Xiaomi and ASUS would reply to this ZTE gaming smartphone.

See the Xpera 1's 3330mAh battery outlasting the Galaxy S10's 3400mAh battery despite the larger and higher screen resolution??

Oh you don't, because you're that incredibly blind towards fanboyism, and you'd hate it when others do it better than your favorite brand. End of discussion.

There is no category on the redmagic website for it, only a non product page.

It marks the 3s as a new camera.

I can't find a hands on page where they test the software and camera. Anybody seen anything?

i totally get it with those people saying gaming phones are a gimmick- benchmarks prove indeed that most of these do not provide sustained gaming prowess than other flagships despite those overrated cooling facilities. the thing is, benchmarks only measures performance and power. gaming handsets also improves over regular flagships on (previously) refresh rate, touch response rate, and speakers, or basically what you hear, see, and feel. proper gaming handsets like those of rog and (now withdrawn) razer have monster stereo speakers that are individually amplified and are capable of pushing a larger volume of air to actually give you fricking bass. imagine that- bass on smartphone speakers. those same speakers are also capable of surround sound that immerses you in the game or whatever media that is encoded with surround sound you are consuming. refresh rates are prevalent nowadays so i won't discuss that anymore. i guess it is pretty much established now that higher refresh rates, regardless the number of games that support it, is now a must-have on flagships. touch response rate- i don't think i need to explain this as well as it is pretty much apparent. i have not included hdr display as it is prevalent nowadays as well, besides it looks like hdr display benefits is subjective. so, just with these three- high refresh rate, touch response rate, and the best speakers set the gaming phones apart from the regular flagships. now, you have to experience it to see its worth, so i guess i this is where we separate those nay sayers against gaming phones. now, to those who say that mobile games are merely cash cows of developers, well you do have to pay for the convenience of playing games in your mobile phone, right? i mean simply saying that pc or console games do not inundate you with ads or make you pay for upgrades is a simplistic argument; let me ask you then- are you able to carry your consoles or pcs in your pocket? i am not a gamer myself, but having experienced gaming on these "true" gaming phones (rog, razer, and blackshark) firsthand, i can say there really is a difference between these and regular flagships. still, i understand those of you who say otherwise because these gaming phones cater to certain demography that you are excluded from.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 12 Mar 2020There is a lot of money gaming these days. As long as they ... moreI am actually getting bored of PUBG and COD Mobile and Fortnite. It's getting extremely generic. Only Asphalt 9 and GRID Autosport are demanding racing games but A9 is a cash-cow and GRID has very limited amount of players. Other popular games like AoV, Mobile Legends, FreeFire Battlegrounds, can rum smoothly even with a budget phone. There are other Esports or demanding titles of course, but only a few need gaming phones to play at highest graphics.

Seriously what's the point of overhyping gaming phones if many devs aren't ready to support such phones. Just to brag? Or enjoy features that even current regular flagships have?

Use common sense, please. Stop trolling iPhones if you've never touched one at all. I have tried a friend's Razer Phone 2 at a glance so I know the difference.

Don't be she eped by games developers. There are very few fair mobile games these days where you'll need your RM3s to play. It's currently unlikely that general quality of mobile games will improve for now.

All this top-notch max specs sheet for $700, good job red. This is definitely a phone to buy
