You should also read up on how they have jacked the prices up on SD 865 by CUTTING OUT the onboard 4G modem and forcing OEMs to add an extra chip for 5G AND 4G, which was included in the SD 855 SoC.
Don't listen to the sheeels, SD 865 is a step in the Wrong direction. And these jacked up prices for flagship devices from most companies is proof of how we customers are getting fleeced by this company.

Why is it so expensive compared to last year? Too close to V60 and Mi10 and the reputation last year does not warrant it. I don't want to dump that amount of cash on something I can't even get serviced here, that comes from such a line.

And they also increased the charging speed which does add some size to phones apparently. Not bad tradeoffs imo, they could afford it

However Samsung puts endless amounts more of money into the research and development, advertising, and far more into factories and paying employees. Not to mention more expensive displays, cameras, and UI overlay.

Do you realize how economical the 865 is?
A Xiaomi mi 10 with an 865 SoC lasted 30 hours with continuous video playback...
The 865 is about a quarter to one third even more battery efficient...
So what does that mean? It means Android batteries can be a shave slimmer...
Don't forget that much more is packed into this phone... You have a 5G modem. And for the first time a total of 4x cameras.
Its a very good balance.
That 865 is so battery friendly.
