Do you know how much money cost to buy a new cam and all new lenses?
There are lenses (not only from Sony) that cost over $10.000. Also there is the risk the other mount may not have all lenses you need. Adapted lenses never work as good as native lenses.
When you are your own boss, you use whatever suits you. When you work for someone else, you use what the give you to use you like or not.
BTW, A7 iii sells more than Nikon Z6/Z7 , Canon Eos R/RP and Panasonic S1/S1R/S1H combined.

Chinese manufacturers are pioneers in fast charging. Deal with it.
Sony and Apple will adopt same tech as them.
None of these companies have R&D money issues.
Apple with all its trillion dollars is the least innovative brand on the market.

That way you give option to user to run 4k@60hz or QHD@120HZ or 1080p@120hz or 1080p@60hz.

Why are people fighting over stupid things?
4K is not a gimmick
120Hz is not a gimmick
XZ2 Premium is the best screen ever put on mobile device unfortunately very few people have experienced it. Super clarity and brightness without any OLED issues such as oversaturation, frequency shift and PWM on low brightness by oh boy does it devour the battery if you play videos on it.

People buy 4K Xperia and love screen.
People that never have touched the device complain about being 4K.
Funny, because same people were always bashing Sony because why Z4/z5 were not QHD despite having much less screen.
According to haters:
Sony + 5.2 16:9 FHD = failure
Chinese phone + FHD screen equivalent to 6.2 16:9 or larger = enough, it will preserve battery

Even the $600 a6100 has faster AF than Canon/Nikon sports DSLR.
A7 III is the best seller FF mirroless.

Look at the number o chineses phones that have not only sided FPS, but exactly same button design used by XZ Premium.
Even few sites bashed Z5 for sided FPS.
