          Poor Sony is desperately trying to gloriously enter the high-end smartphones market by luring potential buyers with their Alpha cameras (which are far behind Canon or Nikon). It's a trap or cheap marketing trick, nothing more. I played enough with "Alpha team tweaked" Xperia 5 camera system - not even close to "ancient" Pixel 1! I doubt that Xperia 1 II will be any different. And Sony, calm down!!! You can come out of nowhere and start selling smartphones for EUR 1200. Don't be ridiculous!

                - Motionblur reduction (90Hz equivalent)

                - power button as fingerprint scanner


                People have no problem with shitty image quality and shitty auto focus along with gimmicky 100x zooms and 108MP with pixelbinning and easily pay for 1500$
                But when sony releases something unique and fast performing product comparitvely at 1200$, people complain.


                PS: Last year 6GB Xperia and iPhone performed onpar with 12GB ram samsung and OnePlus in speed test. This also proves how crap Samsung and OP ram management is. Anything over 8GB ram is nonsense (even with 3 chrome tabs open). Over 12Gb is stupidity and where Mr.Silly lives

                            They could've offered 4k 120hz and fitted a 5k mah battery,but they didn't. End of story.

                            Besides this tweaking of kernel will require unlocked bootloader which most people won't go through.

                                None of the people are reporting dead phones or huge decline in battery performance. Companies like Oppo and OnePlus have pioneered this segment.

                                  Exynos gives upto 2hr less screen on time.

                                  Zoom cameras might not be good at full range but you do realize that it's freakin 100x through a smartphone. 5x zoom is top notch (best in class).
                                  10x hybrid is pretty good too. 30x can give you usable images. Only 100x is gimmicky oil painting which was improved a little after update.

                                        For godsake, I've own a Sony Bravia 4K TV on 65" at home. I dont see a single point make it on a 6.5" phone.
