80Mbps is what is expected from 4K90, not 8K. The 4K60 of s10 does 70.
If the Tokyo 2020 happens, they will use 8K, be sure it will be way over 600Mbps.
Lower bitrate = more compression.
More compressed = less quality.
I am sure these video will look awful on 8K tv.
But so far look like tech sites watch on 4K screen and judge, which is wrong.

Whether Redmi K30 Pro will be successful depend on primarily whether Chinese buyers will choose Redmi K30 Pro (SD865, AMOLED, 5G) over Honor 30 Pro (Kirin990, IPS, 5G). Without the IPS option for Redmi K30 Pro, the battle will be one-sided. My prediction:
Honor 30 Series will sell 20+ millions
Redmi K30 series will sell 7-8 millions.

Bigger sensor with smaller f can catch more light than smaller sensors that use f1.6 or f1.7.

(For your information, Redmi K20 series sold about 6 millions, but more than 80% were sold in China. The same will be true for Redmi K30 series.)

At this point, Redmi K30-5G (with IPS screen) is one of the best-selling 5G phones in China, and is the best selling phone (after Redmi Note 8 Pro) among all Redmi models in the past month. It is not difficult to understand that the availability of IPS option for Redmi K30 Pro will improve its competitiveness against Honor 30 series.

It is therefore important for Redmi K30 Pro to offer both IPS and AMOLED screen options. AMOLED-only will limit the appeal of the unit. There are many reasons behind the past and continued success of Honor Flagship series (Honor 20 series, Honor V20 series, Honor V30 series), but one of the important reasons is the availability of IPS screen option, as evidenced by the comments from buyers in various forums. Honor continue to offer both IPS and AMOLED options for their flagship series, with IPS for their high-priced members and AMOLED for their lower-priced members. For example:
Honor 20 (Kirin980, IPS), Honor 20 Pro (Kirin980, IPS), Honor 20S (Kirin 810, IPS), but much lower-priced Honor 20 Lite (Kirin710, AMOLED).
Honor 30 (Kirin990, 5G, IPS), Honor 30 Pro (Kirin990, 5G, IPS), Honor 30S (Kirin820, 5G, IPS), but lower-priced Honor 30 Lite (Kirin810, 4G, AMOLED).
While many buyers prefer AMOLED, there is a significant percentage of Chinese buyers who insist on getting IPS screen over any OLED (or AMOLED) screen. In particular, they insist on getting IPS screen with flagship smartphones. Those are tech-savvy buyers who have had extensive prior experience with both IPS and AMOLED screens and have a clear understanding of the pluses and minuses of both types of screens.

For a flagship-chip based phone in this price-range (~$500), Redmi K30 Pro has made some of the best design choices to keep the critical feature while discarding some of the 'trendy' but non-essential features. To stay with 60Hz 'refresh rate' is certainly one of such design choices. If I am interested in buying a flagship-killer in this price-range, I will not want to pay more for the 'higher-refresh-rate'.
