Also China is their home market and it is more efficient cheaper for them to provide customer service than in foreign countries. The other Chinese brands, Oneplus, Huawei, Oppo and Vivo follow very similar pricing strategies. All are much cheaper in China

It's ~33% more expensive than the China version. OK, you can add taxes but still more than 20% it's just moronic from Xiaomi.
I was really considering Mi10Pro for my next phone but at this price I'll get back to ether Samsung (S20+) or OnePlus (8Pro).

For those who prioritize screen and speakers and a faster processor for gaming, then Xiaomi is the way to go.

It's crazy how often the Mi 10 pro is confused with the Mi Note 10 pro. Xiaomi REALLY screwed up with those 2 names! It's far too confusing!

Buy the Chinese version, install global software.
Live with widevine 3 support, but sabe hundreds of euros and buy a tablet maybe.

Codrut, 27 Mar 2020:)) a big joke.. Miui for 800 euro.. Actually I prefer MIUI over One UI and EMUI... Prefer built in features in it... MIUI is most feature rich mobile OS atm... And if you start arguing about Chinese apps and ads , you didn't use MIUI or you didn't use global version of it .... I switched from p20 pro to mi note 10... An midrange device, and guess what? I didn't regret... I honestly looking for Mate 40 probably... but it Xiaomi release some mi 10t or something like that, i will be happy to consider buying it... Samsung for example, hyped me with ultra but it outcomes ultra on paper.... So i gave up... Apple isn't consideration because of ecosystem.... So have you some suggestions for me?

Seriously, even tho Mi 10 Pro is better in many aspects compared to S20, but People will go for S20 because it is Samsung, has IP rating, COMPACT, 120Hz dynamic amoled. But Mi 10 Pro has double storage, 108mp main cam, tele cam, and faster charging.
Still, S20 is more worthy than this.
