But don’t forget that Samsung UI aka one UI comes with alternative apps to every single google apps, 2 store (galaxy Samsung story), fast charging, dual sim/esim, 1440P resolution, sd card, 8k/4K@108MP and 5000mAh and Soc has to handle all these staff end of the day it’s phone not a PC.

The thing is i dont use social apps a lot. I have my facebook app disabled, i dont have instagram or twitter app. Whatsapp is always open and i actually locked it to be always open. My main account only syncs gmail and contacts and chrome, while my other accounts only syncs email.
Im not complaining about the device, it runs perfectly fine just feels hotter than normal. Altho, Im not sure about the long term effect of the hotter chip in the long run.
My gripe is actually trying to do all these steps to try to lessen the heat. When you paid top dollars for a top caliber device you expect it to handle everything well. Why do i have to lessen the phone's load when i got it specifically to handle my daily usage? Otherwise whats the point of upgrading from MiNote10 then? And like i said, my other 5G phone handles everything well without me going through all these steps.

That's the best solution. Why would they ditch their own SoC ? Huawei has been doing fine offering weaker SoC than Samsung previously.
I think the people just can't take it that they have weaker exynos and US and other 2 markets get the better SD version. This is the problem actually.
If there were only Exynos then this wouldn't be a big issue in the first place.

Paying royalty is completely different thing. Only Qualcomm does that because they stick their kryo name on them.
Apple doesn't use ARM cortex design like others. They design their SoC on the basis of ARM V8.3 A instruction.

Software optimization might give advantages to daily task but not the CPU or GPU intensive tasks like 'Speed G' test of Gary(from android authority probably).
That test truly gives us the actual result.
Anyway the days of Apple being much ahead in CPU is gone.

I am using a Samsung S10 and I can tell it's a half-garbage phone. I used to like Samsungs better than other OEMs, but the time has come to a change.

Both phones felt faster than Snapdragon 855 devices, the Snapdragon 865 variant of the S20 Ultra was just a little faster than the Exynos 990 variant.
The biggest improvement is user experience though it’s the 120Hz display mode. It’s just a fantastic addition to the phones, and really makes scrolling content that much more fluid. Along with the 240Hz touch input sampling rate of the phones makes these by far the most responsive and smooth experiences you can get on a mobile phone today.

Why would anyone buy a Chines brand which costs almost as much as the S20 is beyond me. And why would anyone in a developed country buy a Huawei?!!

But ARM has c... moreActually you don't know what you're talking about, apple is paying royalty to arm, they are just tweaking the cores in accordance to the optimal ios can max out their full potential, but all apple soc are dependant to ARM including qualcomm, kirin, exynos etc.

But ARM has caught up with them. SD 865 in Samsung has better CPU performance than Apple A13.
Actually Apples design is still ahead as they are using only 6 cores compared to eight in SD.
For GPU, there is no competition at all. Apple is a clear winner. This is the part where I get How behind is Qualcomm's technology. It's ARM who helped Android to catch up with Apple in CPU department. But in GPU I don't understand why are everyone so much behind !
Exynos SoC in S10s and S20s are disaster. People who have knowledge will agree with it.
But Exynos 990 doing that much bad is genuinely weird. I believe it's a software problem.
One news made me believe that. One guy who was running early software who claimed to have a cooler and well behaved exynos in february. but after getting an update early march the heating problem has started and it's too high temperature.

If you see those recently then I should say this,
As the updates were early to exynos versions it's possible that the exynos version was with updates and the SD was without updates. That's just my guess.
Anyway there hasn't been massive camera difference between these two in the past.
They are kinda same. Just SD does better in some area and Exynos in other area.
It's just the people who made this a big deal.
