S20 ultra 5g model also gets the update here in UAE.
Yes, the camera has become better compared to the last update. I appreciate Samsung's effort to release monthly updates.
FYI for people saying exynos is a problem - compared to my other phones, yes, the phone gets a little hotter, (antutu confirms this and indicates that the chip almost always stays in the 50degree C range while the battery is at 30degrees). Other than that the phone performs extremely well. If you are buying the exynos model you can still enjoy the phone.
Some people criticise the phone because oh well they saw some guy's review on youtube - well if you are not buying the phone just keep your hole shut. You have other options out there - like the announced oppo find x2, the mi 10 pro, the p40 pro÷ - dont complain, just buy other phones. Oh wait, these companies announced these new phones without clear global rollout dates, so keep waiting while i enjoy my S20 ultra.

I got a S20+ (Exynos)and i am using it for about 3 weeks now and all they saying about it it's spot on.

Samsung should charge less for their Exynos models, since the product is NOT equivalent to Snapdragon.

That's only for the first streetlamp scene. For other scenes Exynos S20 Ultra performs equally well in auto by retaining more details at the expense of increased luminance noise and even better using night mode.

Just look at date Mi A3 received the update and S10 and who got the update earlier. My S10e received April security update even before S20 series.

Exynos 990 performs like a Sd855 SoC, not Sd865. Also, S20 Ultra's camera has autofocus issues.
You can just visit Notebookcheck for the detailed review. Actually, I have tried all S20s hands-on in a store and I was only impressed by the gorgeous display, just to find out system performance was underwhelming (loading apps aren't as quick as iPhone, let alone a Mi Note 10 Pro I tried shortly before the S20).
Look at Samsung's 2-year ownership program in the US. That is desperate (but Snapdragon S20 is much better, although it's seriously overpriced even compared to iPhone 11 Pro series).
Shocking that even a Mi Note 10 Pro is seemingly better than the S20 but worse display and uses a slower (but more consistent) chipset. OS is quite buggy and ads-ridden.

Also don't give misleading information.
Samsung didn't fire everyone in custom core division.
They just shut down the division.
Also the photos from Exynos aren't superior than SD variant.
SD variant has better low light performance than Exynos. And low light is the main focus for S20 ultra.

Custom M5 cores consume over 60% more energy than Kirin 990 for 20% better performance, and SD865's Kyro cores have 84% higher energy efficiency even though they are both from the same generation. It's GPU is also less efficient than SD865 counterparts and heavily throttles down to achieve worse sustained graphics performance than, ahem, SD855 and Kirin 980. No wonder they fired everyone working on a CPU core development and partnered up with AMD, Samsung definitely made a great decision on those.
Ironically this year Exynos variants have better cameras than SD variants, but again, Exynos have a poor development status for GCam, so it really sucks when you're not living in one of 4 countries where you can get SD.

Just admit it, Oppo Find X2 Pro and Huawei P40 Pro does better photography than the S20 Ultra. Tried the S20U's camera at a glance and images already appear blurry at 50x zoom above, so 100x zoom is a gimmick.
With its weak Exynos chipset both in performance, camera software, etc. it makes overpriced iPhone 11 Pro Max and Find X2 Pro, P40 Pro with no GMS or cheaper Mi 10 Pro shine. The S20 Ultra is a flop.

I got it here in uae. No performance boost or something huge. Just security and camera update.
