LG Style3 unveiled in Japan: a mid-ranger with S845 chipset, 6.1" QHD+ OLED display

10 April 2020
The old chipset still has a flagship GPU and QHD resolution is more than most mid-rangers get.

That's a good phone to consider. I wish they had removed that pathetic depth sensor & provided the 5.5" display with normal bezel instead of notch. That looks ugly for me.

          Lg g7 specs good price.

I'll be honest, there's nothing wrong with SD845. The likes of Pixel 3/3XL, LG V40/G7, Sony Xperia XZ2/XZ3 and OnePlus 6/6T use that chipset and it is still a solid performer today. The fact that LG can throw in OLED screen with QHD+ resolution alongside IP68 and IPX5 rating for $350 is seriously hard to ignore.

Xiaomi, take note of this LG - this is how you do a proper flagship killer! Sorry Pocophone F1, you had it!

Never mentioned Apple since this article isn't about them, but getting called out about "being fine when Apple does it". Yeah, I don't know how I "failed" to read.

You implied that I'm a fanboy and you start whining when you are called one yourself. If you don't like being called names, maybe choose your words wiser. Frankly I don't care for LG nor Apple, both suck badly.

                  [deleted post]he's not...

                  you know why?

this is an upgrade from Lg G7 one (Q9 One)
                  1440 x 3120 pixels, 563ppi, sd835, 4/32, 3000mah, Ip68, 810G, Hdr10, android10, usb3.1, 6.1inch

                  https://m.gsmarena.com/lg_g7_one-9304.php

now you can buy it for 160$
if you buy 2...will be 155$
if you buy 3...will be 152$

so 200-220$ its good price for new one with sd845
                  next version of sd835

This would've been a killer with a 4000mAh battery and a better camera setup

Now I'm merely stating facts and you're calling me a LG fanboy.
What's next dude? You gonna call me a Huawei fanboy as well? You really love to call people with names, don't you?

I never said it was about Apple, but I used it to justify the fact that a $1500 premium flagship phone with humongous notch is selling like hotcakes, which means LG should also be fine for selling phones with smaller display notch for 1/5 the price (and with even better display as well).

Simple reading comprehension, you have failed so badly.
How will I explain things to you if you're really this bad?

I've been living my life with 64GB and I haven't managed to even get it down to less than 15GB remaining after 2 years, and yes, I do store my personal files on the external 64GB SD card, which I haven't brought down to less than 20GB as well.

Plus, with cloud services becoming more and more popular, storage could be less problematic than it was before.

I would love to see more mid-range phone using old flagship chipsets. They are probably cheaper to manufacture by now. Phone using old flagship chipsets should be around the same price as the latest mid-range chipsets anyway. Plus, the CPU & GPU performs better than most of the latest SD700 series. I'm sold with this idea.
