Hahaha A13 better than Qualcomm top Soc, man you must realize finally, that this is because of the better IOS, not because of the Soc is better! All A (iPhone) processors use Qualcomm architecture after all!!!

It is the worst choice amongst everything rumoured till announcement. I could name it a scam. Man, that display, could have been stretched to the edges.. it was a smash

The fact that we are heading probably towards a recession makes me believe this phone will sell incredibly well. Just think there are some people that have been wanting to upgrade their 4 year old iPhones but don't want to spend a massive amount of money right now they have an option. I have seen a lot of people saying it's a ripoff but I don't believe it is. You are getting the most powerful SoC on market, a solid ecosystem especially if you own other apple devices, while it does have only one camera it will be probably much better than most competitors at this price point, 4-5 years of OS updates and decent resell value. Yeah it's ugly and looks dated but looks should never be the reason you buy a phone anyway. I won't get one because I just prefer android but apple did great with this one.

If they had just retained the same dimensions of the iphone SE and the display design like of Ipone X or Iphone 11. i would have bought it right away.

I'm from the Android side of things, but I still think its an awesome deal for the performance.
In 148 grams of weight, you're getting a flagship performance phone, its awesome (for iSheep though, not me)!
The one camera they gave must be good though, it can't be half hearted effort, I expect the 1.4um pixels.
And miss the 3.5mm jack.
No point comparing it to an Android, the ecosystem is different completely.

Never expected this coming... android phones have gone insanely crazy with pricing and guess what comes from iphone, an smaller screen but compact for all girls and sport persons with a beautiful screen.. all features in one yet economical package and oh my god its apple.. Apple has lost in india and most of asian markets due to xiomi and bbk,,, but now will not regain its position here in asia bcoz its again costlier than xiomi but with this launch will definitely kick out most of android from usa..
My thoughts are.
1. Apple will regain 80 to 90% share in usa
2. Apple will lead up to 40% in europe.
3. Samsung will be pushed to no. 5 to no.10 slot worldwide.
4. One plus and bbk will have tough competition and decrease in pricing.because Samsung s20 will be cut price by 40% in two months.
5. Samsung will loose hold on android due to decreasing market share.
6. Google will have to turn its decision against huawei, because its survival now deponds on bbk xiomi and huawei than samsung or lg.
7. Sony will shut down its mobile bussiness.
8. Google services will become free like android so that huawei can use.

Oops apple has won this round, bcoz at this price no android has

4. Good audio 3.5mm jack
Still what it lacks...
Why 64gb, should have 128gb.
Amoled screen would have been wonder.
But apple at this price cant beleive in 2020, an one plus costs double of iphone.. looks like they watched for one plus launch in usa then announced SE to steal the show..
Guess what most of upcoming launches of huawei or bbk or xiomi are all will never be looked upon for year or so..(Huawei P50 will be Game changer though) because who needs a better phone than SE at such a Price.

Do you not read ? The article clearly states the base version shall cost $399. Now that's cheap for a state-of-the-art A13 SoC that beats the shyt out of the Snapdragon 865.
