Typical peace of garbage from Apple, but I can see it will be best seller for Apple. Considering times Apple fans will take budget Apple for granted, even many Android brands for same price will offfer double better hardware.

It's hilarious how Apple remain secretive about RAM and battery specs every time they announce announce. It's not as if it remains a secret forever. Just that they would keep it to their chest for as long as they can. They remain secretive about the battery capacities even in their smart battery cases.
I actually like the idea of the compact SE 2020. It's great to have some bezels, front-mounted FPS, flat screen corners, 16:9 ratio and a fairly compact size. And it's a great strategy for a company to use an old chassis with modern internals. But Apple doesn't pass on the benefits of such cost cutting. $400 for a 64GB phone and 550 if you want 256gb. Apple could have simply had a 256gb Se 2020 at a $400. At current prices, Apple is making a killing spending nothing on development and repackaging old assembly and tooling.
It's criminal to offer 64 and 128gb phones without storage expansion. Especially from a company that offers only 5GB of cloyd space.

It is 400 USD in US. In Europe it will start from 450 EUR, so this is much more and it is not cheap at all!

Not impressed. iPhone 8 recycled with new processor. That's it. I wish it had these features:
6 inch screen with no notch and Touch ID.
4500 mAh battery.
Dual or Triple Camera Setup.
At least 18W Charger in the box.

Say what you will, but a decently sized phone (from any brand, not just crapple) is a hard-to-find precious commodity these days. That + Lack of 5G in many places around the world, low price (compared to insane 1000$+ regular flagships from apple) and it's brand-value will make this a popular choice Among not just people who want a no nonsense simple phone, but youngsters too.
It'll sell like hot-cakes and then maybe, just maybe other manufacturers will follow suit and release capable small flagships.
However, the timing couldn't have been worse. People are losing jobs and interest in tech due to COVID-19. A new phone is the last thing on most people's minds. Also, the fun and frolic and the massive advertising by crapple is also missing here. Maybe it doesn't want the new SE to do 'too' better.
I don't like Cupertino giant and it's shady business practices but I'll concede this one had me intrigued since the very start.

Here Indonesia, there is no OnePlus and Google Pixel and I don't care about how much iPhone selling. Because its cant measuring if that what I need. You talking about iOS EXP to me? For me is really bad. Even the cheaper one like iPhone 6s. There much much reasons.
My point is, even with mid range specs its still has something special and you needs.

If i want clutter free, smooth android, then OnePlus would be far better option than the Pixels. I will always consider Oxygen UI and One UI 2.0 over barebones Android. And when you get lot of bugs in a phone made by Google, right out of the box, it's a shame. Agree or not, this iPhone SE will sell like hot cakes all over the world, period. It's all about experience, when iPhones are mattered.

Full disclosure, I am a dev who does Not like to work with xcode or the Apple ecosystem but is forced to do so if I want to reach a larger market.
I don't like many things Apple simply because of the brand's hubris and the Apple name tax. The word "dislike" would come close to what I feel for Apple.
And I reside in one of the places where Apple products are especially overpriced compared to the US, where I ship/order my hardware from (residence country's name starts with I and A).
That said, if this phone sells for $399 over here (give or take 50 USD more on shipping and taxes) then I will purchase it.
The full article on this site got a negative slant to it and seeing how there seems to be a TON of 1+ articles off late I think we just need to add 1+ 1 together to see whats going on ;)

Bummer that the size has increased over the previous SE. Some of us want the smaller size format (4" screen) but with the modern specs...

Why can't I see headlines like that? That phone would sell like hotcakes if Google had the balls. They're already there in the looks department.( Don't tell me the pixels look better than these with the unequal bezel sizes) They just need to follow through with the chipset
