Just the proportion compared to the other two.

None of them will sell the amount of units expected.
Even without covid, s20 series would have less sales than s10 series.

Hopefully the situation will improve in 2021 especially with AMD coming on board.. I'm skipping the Note 20 phones and I'll wait for the Note 21 Plus.

I have already decided to order it online Amazon USA with Snapdragon

Anonymous, 18 Apr 2020It will have at least 3600. Sice there are no official information, you literally are clueless what capacity it will be :D
3600 would be nice through, there is rumor Xperia 5 II can be a bit smaller than the first version so there's possibly for another step towards better battery life.
They better not mess up software this time.

The marketing samsung use is fooling gullible consumers into buying these incomplete devices, at £1199 in the UK its foolish for samsung to think otherwise, Gizmodo has written an article showing the issues, and they all are coming from Exynos powered versions.

I wouldnt buy a samsung device now, used to all the time as well, Team Huawei.

Sponge, 18 Apr 2020So the S20 Ultra has shit camera hardware but it's software... moreOptimization is also not the best but hardware is the major point of failure with Samsung. I didn't say their hardware is great. I had an A50 and it has the worst hardware in a smart phone I have ever seen. One of which is the optical fingerprint sensor they even use in the S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite...

And of course, software support. They can produce these expensive devices all they want, I personally won't even buy them a year later simply because you will have lost software support by waiting. Even the cheapest Apple iPhone has better support than the most expensive Samsung. Yes, you get less great hardware but their support has no competition.

I'm currently looking into replacing my S8 (yet again). Tried Xiaomi and they have terrible software support. Can't find anything with good software for a reasonable price anymore...

Does this mean Samsung is planning note20, note20+ and note20 ultra?
                            That would be too stupid.

Anonymous, 18 Apr 2020You know that the Ultra lasts that little because of 120hz?... moreSo the S20 Ultra has shit camera hardware but it's software is optimised? despite its auto focus issues which can apparently be sorted with software updates?

I think theres several things at play with Samsung recent and very likely it's up and coming Note 20 Series won't be without its problems, it was also seen with the failing of its 1st Fold device and whilst its mid range devices seem fine being produced with plastic bodies while the competition produced metal frame/glass sandwich devices.

                              1. Samsungs engineers can't seem to keep pace with Samsungs head of departments and there Ambitions
                              2. Samsung current mobile divisions leadership team seem to be paying more attention to profit over consumer satisfaction and device reliability
                              3. Samsung ludicrous marketing of said devices ot matching up with the actual products it sells

I am wondering how they have managed to fit in a 4000mah Battery and S-pen slot, I understand it will likely come with the camera set up like the S20/S20+ but surely it will have a larger display than last years Note 10 with its 6.3" display.

Same goes for the Note 20+, the S20 Ultra has a large camera module inside, 5000mah Battery and huge display, surely the new Note 20 series when it arrives won't have a display over 6.9"?

I have the Note 10+ (Europe, so Exynos) and a Samsung phone will never ever again be my choice for an Android phone unless we start getting Snapdragon variants.

Only with the latest Android 10 update, they fixed those bugs and the battery is pretty damn good. I know, I own that device.
But the only way, you can get decent battery life on Xperia 5 is stamina mode! And that cuts off a lot of power, turn off synchronization, turn brightness off, turn a lot features off...
So crap like it magically works, is BS.
Bigger battery is always better - Xperia 1 II has bigger battery, Xperia 5 II should have bigger battery as well...I wonder why you think it's really good, because even Sony is adresing it with new refresh.
Silly Sony right, they do not know what they are doing...
