Rave, 04 May 2020Nokia phones have very bad specs and after sales support is... moreLike many others... i was encouraged when the brand returned to the market, I quickly bought a Nokia 8... my first android. It was decent. Nothing fantastic.... but it served me well till the Nokia 9 released. I've bought almost every top level camera phone Nokia have sold. But the 9... while innovative... too buggy.

At that point I went looking for the best camera phone available. At the time the Samsung S20+ and the Huawei P30Pro were on offer. I went for the Samsung and have remained with the brand. Intact my use of Samsung kit has dramatically increased due to top quality specs, decent prices and they seem to retain their value. It would take something extraordinary to make me go back to HMD

Inadequate pricing over specs mostly. With so overcrowded market they trying to sell their stuff like some super-top brand. But they aren't what Nokia used to be. The only successful model they made was 7 plus. Since than only one after another disappointments.

That's what happens when you make crap phones.

Nokia should sue HMD for damaging their reputation by launching some really ridiculous handsets. I am sure they have a clause in their agreement talking about quality of products. Rip Nokia

Maybe because of pricing. Nokia tends to put high price tag for low spec phones. If they follow how xiaomi & realme on pricings surely they can get consumers to consider their phones. But this is just my opinion, others may not agree but feel free to voice your opinion.

The First Thing That Nokia Should Really Improve Upon Is The India Market. It Can Do Very Well But Have To Be Very Strategic In Price Point,Specs,And Please Take Advantage Of Flipkart Rather Than Amazon Because It Will Increase Your Sales Very Much As Most People Don't Know Which Is The Latest Nokia Phone And Whats Its Price.
And A Very Important Thing That Please If You Can Then Launch Nokia 5.3 In India At ₹-9999/- On Flipkart (Even If With 3Gb-32Gb Configuration) & Mark The Word That It Will Really Be Very Very Successful And Will Change Your Plight. If Someone Can Then Deliver This Message To Nokia.I Really Want That Nokia Became Successful.

I am sorry, but RIP NOKIA. I am 30yrs old. Never used any other phone than nokia. But time has come to shift to other brand. My Nokia 8 sirocco is almost dead. So next will be OnePlus 8pro.....

Some extra availability and promotion in the right physical retail channels in canada and USA would help. A commercial punch. Old nokia had many retailers
Looking forward to 9.3 pure view.
Stop to shiny backs. Mat finish is cleaner classier and not too big all the time.

If Nokia wants to return to being the great brand it was, it must immediately get fire the CEOs who govern it. It is a brand that was already wrong with Microsoft, and worse with HMD since they do not propose anything to the Android market.
It makes me sad because I had a Nokia N8 and I still have it because it is the phone that gave me the most joy, and Nokia should follow the line it had with Symbian but adapted to Android.

The current line that brings lazy releases that do not contribute anything to the Android market, with a Nokia 9.3 Pureview that only accumulates more and more delays, with little advertising and little market penetration ... it's a disaster in everything.

Sorry but it's the truth and the last graph shows what Nokia is today: doomed to a disappearance if they don't already change its CEOs.

That is what happens when all your latest phones are already outdated on launch.

HMD needs to stop releasing generic phones with mediocre specs & a bland design language; and they need to take inspiration from other Chinese brands like Oppo, Vivo, etc. Release phones that actually attract users.

BTW, If you combine Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus & Realme sales, then BBK Electronics becomes the 2nd highest selling brand. That's quite an achievement.
