I dont get it. Why do you people argue over this phone. You dont like it dont buy it.
And this hole thing about not being popular, its market strategy to make you buy lumias, but not all contries are targeted for lumias. This phone is popular in my country.
Maybe not as cool as an S2 for some people , but this phone is way better than those stupid lumias.
Compare it to an lumia 900 and you will see.

Dead in the fact that developers are no longer making apps for it...
Dead in the fact that it will be superceded in March 2013 with the Lumia Pureview range - this phone is merely a tech demo to show the Pureview technology..
Dead in the fact that carriers in U.S. are not going to subsidise this (therefore consumers have to pay full price on top of contract).. Similarly in the UK - this phone isn't previewed on any network website, nor the big sellers such as Carphone Warehouse, etc. which basically mean it'll be about as popular as the N8 (bombed)...
Yeah, I'd say that this was a dead phone...
Don't get me wrong...
Lumia + Pureview = a very attractive phone to the masses, it gives Windows a 'killer feature'.. but this phone stands zero chance of selling and is for the Nokia fanatic only...
The problem here is that unless you take photos ALL THE TIME, the cons severely outweigh the pros - whilst the rest of the world (for years you say) is advancing with apps / features / latest tech / things we haven't even dreamt of yet - N808 owners will be able to take great pictures and view them on a low-res screen. Great. Welcome to the future.

T... moreiv seen how the videos, 808 is better compares to iPhone 4s, c'on jst the specs talks for itself, the 808 has a better camera, higher resolution, bigger sensor size, evn on the you lube nokia explains the sensor on 808 itself is 5x bigger then normal 8mp sensors on others.. you do some research dont post crap things.. the evidence is below

Have you seen videos captured by 808? They are not that much different to the ones captures on the iPhone 4S or Galaxy S III.
All three suffer from rolling shutter effect.
Search the web, do some research before typing some nonsense.
Then Nokia fans will claim iPhone fans are brainwashed... LOL, you are more brainwashed than anybody else comparing a smartphone to a DSLR.

I'm confused...coming to America? Will Eddie be selling it? Because last I knew no carrier was going to subsidize it. I'd be ecstatic if I could get the 808 for an unlocked price, to be honest!
