Just wondering what could be the reason for proprietary Charging port when we have USB C power delivery out there to fecilitate Universal charging!

Kristic, 11 Jun 2020I guess coz AMD does not bring that much publicity as Intel... moreI think a lot of people know that Ryzen is better than Intel especially in 2020. They've upped their game on the laptops department. Tech savvy people might just avoid upgrading to the newer Intel since the performance difference is insignificant. However, Intel laptops are abundant while AMD ones are scarce. I think the problem with Ryzen 4000 series is that it's built on 7nm TSMC which AMD doesn't have much of their orders. It might change later this year with Huawei being halted.

He told me that amd is not suitable for our country. It is suitable for cold countries. In india temperature varies between 30 to 47 degree Celsius so this processor will take heat easily and laptop will slow.

Considering these laptops are targeted to Business users AMD does not stand chance for that even with better efficiency.
