Anonymous, 12 Jun 2020Newer ryzen 3300x is very much a cpu for half decade if you... moreI'm trying to make a build that is comparable with consoles. All consoles this gen have 1 tb ssd, I chose EVO because they are freaking amazing, while they won't be as fast as PS5 or xb, they will be there for life. I am a PC guy by myself, I'm just looking at stuff from current perspective, I know stuff will get cheaper. These consoles for all intents and purposes far exceed any budget builds, so I thought that might as well spend a tad bit more (3300x is 120 right now while I can get a good 3600 for 30-40 more https://premiumbuilds.com/cpus/ryzen-3-3300x-vs-ryzen-5-3600/) As it is, I know what I am looking for when I build stuff, for the suggested build I was comparing equivalent specs to a console, not another gaming rig. Microsoft and Sony are selling at a loss with hope of recouping through games, economy of scale and costs being lowered in future, so there is really no point in trying to build a PC that exceeds PS5 and say it will be cheaper. That is what I have been trying to say all along, all those things you have written will build a good PC, but will it equal or exceed console on all counts? Hard Drive definitely won't

And for multi threading 8 virtual cores. It won't be bottlenecking compared to its immediate older sister thus gaming performance is better on 3300x because of better ccx layout compared to 3100 or 3600.. The extra 2 core and 4 thread will only help in rendering and streaming.. Evo 860 isn't that much cheap tho. It's top ssd out there.. And I don't need to go for 1tb ssd! It's not a smart choice for a budget build.. I would rather choose a 2tb hdd for storage and 500gb ssd for faster boot drive and loading although cheaper 256 gb ssd will be fine which doesn't need to set for any drive cache.. I can choose a qcl m.2 sdd as well..
under 70$. Which is even faster than typical ata interface..
I guessed it before that you're not that much experienced or knowledgeable about these stuff that's you're thinking like this. And price drop depends on the resale value.. I ensure you even now I can build you a pc sharp at 800$ which will per with ps5... Let not talk about future.. As geforce 20 series doesn't have as resale value as its predecessor so Nvidia talk about price drop by half.. 1080ti is the best product of Nvidia after 980ti by resale value.. And its launch price was 700$. So after factory made the price was like 800-900 dollar. So 600 dollar is pretty much a great price down even a card like this.. I remember I bought a fwt3 at 1200$ which can be found under 500$ with discount or deal.. As my friend got one.. So it's possible to get a 2070s then at 250-300$ for sure! I think you don't have much ideas about retail shops..

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2020I said 150 ish on a mobo because of PCIE and the upgrade ab... moreI don't need much pcie if I talk about budget build.. And pricing isn't the condition of supporting zen3 cpu (not ryzen 4 because its mobile and apu versions have the current gen architecture). Previously AMD decided not to support b450 motherboard for next gen cpu but they withdraw their decision and will support b450 mobo. So a 80 dollar b450 mobo is perfect to run zen3 cpu..
There tons of budget case near 60$ with great airflow.. I don't need cooler as well because amd comes with good stock cooler.. And yes it's obviously recommend if you're on budget side. It won't harm any of your performance if you aren't a noob at this thing..

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2020Ok man! This comment makes sense than most of guys here! ... moreI kept futureproofing in mind. 12 threads are better than 8 in multicore, plus I wouldn't want a CPU to be a bottleneck for any higher end GPU in future. We will see prices drop in future so I agree current prices are bound to be higher. And I still have skipped RAM and stuff. I chose cheapest 1 tb ssd I could find on amazon which is still ~150 (Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM) ) which is of good quality (WD's are cheaper by 15-20 but I don't think that matters too much) no matter how you look at it, something with performance of ps5 or xbox will run >1250 for sure even in future, since I don't expect 2070 to suddenly become 250 bucks. (A 1080ti is freaking 600ish on amazon)

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2020Ok man! This comment makes sense than most of guys here! ... moreI said 150 ish on a mobo because of PCIE and the upgrade ability to ryzen 4 in future, plus case needs to be good for the cooling. Since I skipped on cooler, you could probably reduce costs on mobo and case (not recommended) so the total remains same irrespective of the stuff

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2020PC with specs of PS5: for PC guys on amazon:
RTX 2070: 550... moreOk man! This comment makes sense than most of guys here!
None of two consoles are yet on market! By the time those arrive AMD's and Nvidia's new gen gpu will be on market before as AMD is gonna release their rdna2 gpu before consoles and looking at this announcement Nvidia is also gonna release at the same time..
From the last rumours from Nvidia, after releasing of new gpu they will decrease all older gpu prices by half.. So no one need to speed the same as now..
So stop comparing recent prices. Let those console come on market at first.. Even to beat xbsx gpu, you at least need a 2080 or 2080s on more comfortable site. And to beat ps5 gpu 2070s is plentifully..
But why I need to spend 150-200 on mobo!? There many great budget friendly mobo can be found under 80$. Surely a b450 m-atx
I would rather pick a 3300x. Because in gaming it's per with 3600 even some time better! So surely a guy who has a knowledge about pc hardwares, surely won't spend any extra unusual bucks..
100-150 on case!? Seriously? Even good case can be found at around 50-60 $
I don't need a pricey m.2 nvme ssd.. A cheaper 50$ quality sata based ata ssd is enough for my system and boot drive. Spend extra on ram is way more important for gaming and generations more effective than ssd on ps5..

Most developers for the nextge... moreWhat an illiterate doesn't know what he's saying! Console is the primary platform for some of consoles special games.. And it works in the time of launching.. Where did you get that 70% number? Lool! PC is the platform where 54% devs work for primarily then they consider mobile and platform according to developer index..
Again you're showing your empty knowledge here without knowing any single facts! 3000$ XD what a joke!
Sony's or MS buying components won't cost any one more than just 350-400 dollar even without the manufacturing price if one buy components differently, so obvious to say it's cheaper.. Because they're getting APU which is more cost effective under manufacturing process..
And which hardware specifically gonna be obsolete? Care to explain? XD I'll be waiting to know!
And fake account? Did I comment from an account? No wonder you're the with pointless facts..

Bogdan, 12 Jun 2020I think is the other way around. Please make me a PC gaming... moreFor pc parts I believe Europe has reasonable price tag compared to other developing or poor countries...
But 1050ti and temple run? Remember why I told you that don't have much know about pc parts or price.. I'm sure that you've never seen a 1050ti before or have one.. 1050ti pretty much can handle games like Warzone, Pubg steam, WD2, Witcher 3 etc so well without any single issue but you don't need to be worry.. Because even in round price tag I can get you cards like 5500xt, 1660s and so on.. And at time of these two console come all older cards price will go down by almost half.. So people can get more powerful gpu at more reasonable price..

After the announcement, seems to me its for the regular version (with disk drive) and digital only versions. Most possibly the disk version will have 1TB storage and the digital will have 2TB... bringing somewhat of a parity for both devices.

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2020Yet another illiterate! Pick a 980ti in much cheaper price.... moreYou don't get it, right ?
Most developers for the nextgen of consoles will be developing AAA games on Consoles first. Then on PC
Because they finally have the horsepower to do so, and because 70% of games sales are made on PlayStation and Xbox support.
Plus games are more expensive on console.
And yes, building yourself a PC as powerful as a PS5 will cost you north of 3000$.
That's because Sony (And Microsoft) are buying components in bulks, by hundreds of thousands.
So companies like Nvidia, AMD, whoever, are selling them components at a tenth of what you would be paying as a consumer at LDLC.
No wonder why neither Sony nor Microsoft will get any real profit out their console hardware.
Now you understand why PS5 & XBSX hardware won't be obsolete anytime soon, you genius ?
Aye so some other guy disagree with you, so it has to be me trollin' around with a fake account
But of course
Keep talkin'

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2020Don't act like you couldn't build something decent or buy s... moreI had that graphic card for 1 year. Please don't tell me it is a good card.
I struggle to play games like Doom (2015) and Mad Max. Drop in frames, lag after a couple of hours of gaming. So yeah.
Maybe some people have low standards, I don't know. But that card was the reason I sold my PC and bought a PS4. Played again those titles without any problems.
I sold my PS4 too afterwards, because I am not really a console guy, even though I had every console since the last 2 generations (Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, portables too).
Imo, a minimum graphic card nowadays, will be the RX5500 XT from AMD or GTX1650 SUPER from Nvidia. Which cost around 200EUR each.
