Nofate, 15 Jun 2012Only hope for Nokia is to use Meego OS for high-end smartph... moreToo late for that. Elop has already made his
damage by killing every other OS, that I'm afraid even firing him his decicions can not be annulled.

The only Nokia employee that needs firing is Stephen Elop. He single handedly destroyed Nokia. I don't know why Nokia's shareholders aren't asking for his resignation

I feel sorry for those 10 000, well the ones who still care about the customer. My own personal experience with Nokia has run south and I can't wait to dump my current phone for a different manufacturer. Just don't know which way to go though, coz I don't think BB is the answer either. samsung? apple is a little expensive here, just don't know

I believe it's the arrogance of the top executives in not adopting Android technology, has led to the laying off of 10K employees. Some of which has probably worked and slogged for many, many years.

Dear Mr Elop
U really really make a big disaster for Nokia, specially to your 10,000 employees
And for Nokia fans (so do I), this time we should open our blind eyes and see whats going on
We've already talking to much praising symbian & WM ,bashing other company specially android bla bla..And now what? Honestly i would say Android is best solution for nokia this time..if only Nokia using Android, probably the story will different
When i realized Samsung taking over Nokia as the biggest phone in this planet, actually i was so sad.. I doesnt like korean product at all, but for now i will say they (samsung) is worth it for that reputation. No denying anymore
I always love nokia, since my 1st phone 5110 untill now (Lumia 710) ..perhaps i must turn my head to another brand? Sony, anyone?
U know, both Sony & Nokia are truly company which has a character on their product specially for its design
Yes Sony has delivered way same as Nokia, cutting their 10,000 employees but Sony is a giant company which not making phones, their contribute in the multimedia era was amazed, while Nokia only produce phones only
Or should i must learn how to love samsung?

Maybe a Nokia employee reading this could tell us his inside thoughts and believes of what Nokia is doing at the moment and where Elop is heading with the company!

Titans are meant to fall when they sit way too high up and disregard anything else...that's just the "N" culture...remember the time when this was quoted "the fruit company has 1 product and it expects to beat us when we have 40 a year?"…it's a matter of time when we see a merger & acquisition exercise out of this…kittos

Nokia is on a downward spiral due to a lack of vision. Nokia used to be daring, adventurous and that made them good. When they released the N900, even tho it had it's issues, it was a marvelous (still is) device, so much so that I'm having a real problem replacing mine now. All they needed to do was build on that platform, fix the OS bugs and they would be on the uptick. What did Nokia do? They stopped support for the N900, killed meamo and said they would focus on meego. Then they released the N9...great device sparking a lot of interest world wide and had the potential to redeem nokia's clout. What did they do? Kill meego and told it's fans that support for the newly (sexy) N9 would be limited to none existent. No body likes windows mobile, and their new line of phones just dont cut it, especially for the price. If I didn't know better (which I really dont)I'd say nokia is trying to kill itself.
Otherwise, it needs a miracle's miracle.

What can you expect when the ceo refuses to sell the whole line up in every country? N9? Released in minor markets only despite getting good to rave reviews. Development costs tossed in the bin. The 808 Pureview? Release to include the US and some other major markets, but not pushed and no carrier agreements despite being a brilliant niche market camera phone. Kill meego, your in house OS when most manufacturers are looking to get an in house OS. Go exclusively with wp7 an unproven mobile OS with a minor market share. Shares now junk status, market share now pitiful. And this guy still has a job?
