26 June 2020
That takes the total number of rumored cameras on the mid-ranger to six.

SweetPea, 26 Jun 2020With 12 GB of RAM I don't think it will be available on 330$ Everything more than 8GB is basically marketing. Meanwhile I am still fine with 4GB. My next phone will be 6 or 8 GB of RAM which I will.probably never use. The stupjd thing is.that brands are like look at this RAM this is so much better and then put a higher price tag to their product because of this. The sad thing is that people actually believe in this and think they need it. It only makes the phone more expensive

Hm. Strange name for this phone. ' Nord' is Italian for ' North'.

I'll stick with my Mi Max 3. No ugly screen disruptions.

Does that mean this will be altogether a new design?

My hopes for 6" compact phone are still alive if it does.

When companies make a phone with punch holes or notches, that extra screen space is used for notifications, battery, signal, etc. symbols and gives you more vertical screen space for scrolling. With a bezel, you just push all those notifications and symbols onto your screen so your usable screen space is even smaller. Think of a bezel as a permanent front camera holder that does nothing else, while a phone with a punch hole gives you a digital bezel that also holds your network/battery statuses, notifications, and even some screen space depending on the app. I'd rather have a flexible digital bezel than a permanent non-digital one any day of the week.

Punch holes are already bad enough, but dual punch holes are the worst, if it have a dual punch hole as opposed to a more sensible option like a thin bezel or a pop up, I'll laugh so hard at the epic dual fail of OnePlus xD

The OnePlus Nord device was a safe purchase for me until I heard about the dual punch-hole.
Sorry OnePlus, that was the worst decision you could have made.
Unfortunately for me it's a no-go, the display looks terrible with it.

There was no need to put additional camera and increase the price.

AirY, 26 Jun 2020Dual front cam means disgustingCouldn't have said it better!

I mean... The documentary showed that they worked so hard on the design... Saying they want to go back to roots where they were aiming their products at tech enthusiasts... And they come up with dual selfies (that ruin the display) for the sake of having pretty instagram selfies? I'm not sure what they're high on but it's some strong stuff.

theres no need for dual punch hole. Its even weird to think that its flagship brother only got one front camera.

Oppo is the only officially confirmed institutional shareholder of Oneplus. BBK seems to be more like a holding company. They own Oppo so they would indirectly own Oneplus too making them all part of the same group
