    K30 5G killer

Biggest differenciating factor is the OnePlus has good software which is lacking in the k30-Pocophone f2

Brave design choice. That doesn't look full screen. Looks like there is a top and bottom chin to the phone.

Hope this midrange 765G Nord is not so expensive and also has a huge battery. Looking forward to this one.

They've faded away from where they started. This is a top midrange, It's not a flagship killer. One plus is a different smartphone now.
The best this can do is top the midrangers

what's so special? it looks like a random Galaxy A phone.

BrendonF, 03 Jul 2020One Plus is all about software. I have a Poco F1 and I like... moreConsidering one have ugly holes and the other have beautiful fulldisplay and privacy friendly pop up, with that alone my choice is already done, then one having a SD7xx and the other a SD8xx for similar-ish price just confirm that.
I won't be surprised if the Nord doesn't even have an headphone Jack which is a big no no for me, I thought I wouldn't need it when I bought my OnePlus 6t as I never listen to music from my phone but turn out there are many occasions I could have used an headphone jack to plug my Corsair Void Pro into my phone...
And well, the OnePlus launcher is quite restricting, you can't even put other pages on the left of the main one, I would choose (and I did) other pages over the drawer any days, so I switched to Nova Launcher and customized it as I wished, and considering the F2 Pro have a SD865, the native UI + Nova Launcher WILL be fluid.
This is how I customized it :

The features to value ratio make the Poco F2 Pro way better than any recent OnePlus, including future Nord, 8t and 8t Pro.

Having seen how bad the notch and the holes are, I'll never buy a phone with them, only bezel and pop up camera (or even no front camera at all) are on my list.
I did show here how the OnePlus 6t teardrop notch have a negative impact on notifications :

So yeah, software isn't everything and OnePlus doesn't have the best software, actually quite a few peoples really don't like it, personally I mainly don't like the launcher part.

Rip-off at this price, I got my 7 pro for about the same price last year and that has a better screen, better SOC and better cameras.

If OnePlus truly wants to get back to its roots they should stop this BS advertising of offering a midranger at what used to be flagship prices and offer true value which this is not.

It's good for the company though, charge as much as a 7 pro, but give the user much less.

AnonD-909757, 03 Jul 2020They said "under 500$". Since it is probably MSR... moreOne Plus is all about software. I have a Poco F1 and I like the phone which I have used for almost 2 years now. Its still running strong but its software has been all over the place. The UI is heavy and now as smooth as my friends One Plus 6. If I had to choose between the Poco F2 and the One Plus Nord I would think very hard but might actually choose the Nord if the rest of the specs are good and the price is right. If the One Plus Nord is cheaper in my country (like the One Plus 8 and 8 pro) then I will choose the One Plus Nord over the Poco F1. But if the price is similar then no chance Poco F2 all the way.

lgsf, 03 Jul 2020Why would anyone choose SD765 over Dimensity 820 or 1000? ... moreSome people like to run custom roms and MediaTek SoCs are DOA for that purpose. I have no intentions of buying a Dimensity phone unless it checks literally every box for a phone I want except the SoC or MediaTek really steps up their support and release of code.

Anonymous, 03 Jul 2020I hope the display will be a modern size like 6.67That's way too big.
