The A13 is still on top.Nice joke.
A13 is only on top in benchmarks.
In real life, it lags behind SNAPDRAGON 865.

AnonD-893029, 09 Jul 2020Ok this is just getting silly now. I'm seeing nonsense... moreIt is just a bunch of poor kids using Samsung Galaxy j1s, low end xiaomis and mobicels that wish they could even own a phone with an A11 Bionic that are posting all that nonsense,I can bet you now most of them don’t even have insurance on their phones.

Anonymous, 09 Jul 2020well exynos and amds new gpu 3x more powerful than adreno 6... more1st, I would leave room for a fair bit of scepticism as far as Exynos claims are concerned if I were you. They have not exactly lived up to past promises.
2nd, the S21 (or whatever it ends up being called) will likely not use the 865+, but rather the 875 (or whatever that ends up being called). Which will most likely feature an updated Adreno GPU, that will be more in line in terms of performance (or even ahead of, if past trends continue) when compared to the Exynos equivalent.
The 865+ is aimed at device's yet to be releasd during the remainder 2020, it is not meant to be the flagship Qualcomm soc for 2021.

The 865 and 865+ are more like A12 competitors. The A13 will only be matched in 2021 and by then the A14 will be around.

AnonD-893029, 09 Jul 2020Ok this is just getting silly now. I'm seeing nonsense... morewell exynos and amds new gpu 3x more powerful than adreno 650 in benchmarks leaked
they current gpu is only about 60% fast as snapdragon variant and efficiency
next year all s21 models could be exynos beating literally everything buy big margins
no real point of getting plus model for 10% when can more thrn double triple soon
and this will at least challenge snapdragon and apple to make better competitors

Mediatek sux, 09 Jul 2020Ofc even sd 625 beat a14. Go home.Ok this is just getting silly now. I'm seeing nonsense about 765's beating A13's, 625's beating A14's. So what's next then eh, let me guess the SD410 can beat and A13 & 14 & 15 right up to 20 yeah????
honestly, I get that many of you don't like Apple products, and that's fine, to each his own and all that. But to allow that dislike to lead to the sheer nonsense that is popping up here is ridiculous.
The 625 is a mid range chip from 2016, it (at it's absolute best) would be barely able to compete with the Apple A9, forget about anything later than that. The 765 is an upper mid range chip, purposefully designed not to offer the same level of performace as Qualcomms own current flagship the 865, which itself loses on many of the most important metrics to the current Apple 13.
So how on earth is the 765 suddenly this world beater???, if it were able to outperform the current best from Qualcomms main competitiors, then what would be the need for 865 at all, let alone this new + variant?
I might as well go onto a reddit threat populated with intel fans and start reading how the celeron N4000 'beats' the Ryzen 9 4900H. It would make about as much sense as this.

potato4k, 08 Jul 2020*yawn So basically just the 855 overclocked a bit. It's always been. A Plus version is a second-half flagship chipset with only an overclock speed.
It's a business strategy, so people would think the second-half flagship will use "updated" chipset rather than "near-a-year" soc. 🙂🙂🙂

"Like the non-plus version, the S865+ supports 144 Hz displays. However, it has a 10% better chance of hitting the required game framerates to make the best use of that refresh rate as the Adreno 650 GPU has also received a clock boost."
Good.

Rk100, 08 Jul 2020Finally someone with some common sense People need to under... more10 percent is 10 percent bud. Obviously Qualcomm isn't trying to win any Snapdragon 865 equipped device owners with it. It's simply to make some better options for the second half of 2020 until the 875 arrives. There's nothing wrong with that.
