Of course it does. Seeing the phone snaps into half when Zack JerryRig durability tested it. And Android Authority saying the camera quality isn't great despite a similar setup from flagship OnePlus (forgot which one)

I've seen multiple mentions of this thing on all major platforms. Paid hype or not, annoyance takes the interest away.

Ray Busher, 02 Aug 2020There customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with.... moreThat is not acceptable from OP. I heard similar stories when it comes to repairs also. They're going to cheap out somewhere or the other I guess though. Doesn't make it right.

As it is, we know BBK marketing tricks anyway. Sell 20 phones and say the flash sale sold out in 1 minute from launch. They think they're so clever and able to fool us, but they can't. OP could have been more successful at £300 but no headphone jack and so much competition. OP did not do their homework on their consumers in the marketplace and now it should come home to roost.

"Even the promise of a cheaper version, the INR 25,000 model that will launch in India this September, wasn’t particularly popular"

Of course it wasn't, only 64GB of ROM with no micro SD support it literally useless. You'll probably only have 53GB available to use and with some apps like pubg taking up 2GB alone it's just not enough in 2020.

Anonymous, 02 Aug 2020I don't understand how people can be disappointed, suc... moreEasy because we're being mugged off in the west. Asia and India/China are getting way better value for money. Why not us? Because they are milking the fan base now. It is treading on the F2 Poco Pro toes at this price and that excels in different areas. It doesn't stand out in any significant area and the 5G in it is average at best. 90hz is great at the budget segment but not enough to rescue them. 4A Pixel from Google, smaller phone and more manageable and cheaper = better option. iPhone SE £399, again a better option and better platform with better apps. That phone will last pretty much forever with a battery case. Camera miles better. So OP is working within narrow margins more than ever. Not good enough from them.

AnonD-940827, 02 Aug 2020You can get the better 7t, for the same price. That's ... moreThe 5G inside it isn't even that good. OP and SD did us dirty with their overhyping. The 5G modem can not be even compared with the external modem in the flagship 865 processor. This is truly a bottom-line budget move. For the price, it is not good enough from OP. The camera is basic but competent. Meanwhile, F2 Pro is only a little more but everything comes with that aside from OP launcher and 90hz screen. OP milking their fan base.

Anonymous, 02 Aug 2020Quality build , components and amazing OS .with constant up... moreA headphone jack, stereo speakers, no punch holes, at least aluminum or metal body, better processor (Dimmensity 1000 would have been better than the 765G), list goes on. You might say that would bump up the price but explain the IQOO Neo 3 and Z1 phones? Those two are miles better than this one hardware and performance-wise and they cost the same, if not, less.

Honestly, I was expecting thick small phone - like Oneplus X or Samsung Galaxy S7 - height up to 145mm. Everyone right now have large phones. If Pixel 3a will be 350USD then I buy it

I do wish that oneplus would give us a physical fingerprint reader instead of the screen. Much faster and precise.

I do hope that op stays away from the button less feature.

Pixel 4a destroyed the junky Nord and has left it completely DOA. Also the SE is much better too

It's very hard for the world to imagine that "A made in China product" can have a good quality.
China and quality are inversely proportional to each other.
So those who want quality will never invest money in mi, op, opportunity and vivo. 16 k is the max they should have launched this.

And flagship should be 25 max.

Sorry 1+ but this is a fail. There are better smartphones out there with better materials not plastic that is so 2010. poco f2 pro is the same price and its way better.

That's ... moreWhere can you get a now OP7T from for the same price as a Nord, even if you can then why buy a device OP will probably now ignore OS updates wise, whilst they concentrate on the newer Nord/8's?

There customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. I pre ordered on the 3rd round so I can get the free gifts and exclusive box ,on the day of ordering it was a shambles you were asked to select a free gift that was part of the phone anyway and it did not say it was a lucky dip for the gift, so I ended up with a sticker ,a piece of card ,and a case , i did not receive the exclusive box .after contacting OnePlus it ended up with I could return the phone but the £20 deposit would not be returned ,all one plus had to do is either send the box ,and if that's not possible then send a small gift as an apology for not sending ,but they rather just ignore your requests and keep your deposit that way making the customer angry and losing them from all future sales and recommending from that person.

OnePlus should have left a break in making phone after they release 7T and 7T Pro instead they over did and many of the latest OnePlus phone has the same features as that of 7T. I'm a 7T user and its way better than 8 or 8T.
