Anonymous, 03 Aug 2020Pixels are the worst phones in the Android ecosystem. No, they are not. You are talking rubbish mate.

Comparing the camera samples of 4A and the Nord, the 4A blows the Nord our of the water. There is absolutely no contest despite the multi camera contraception Oneplus cooked up for the Nord. I mean Pixel shows you don't even need a 48 MP camera leave aside the others to get great pictures.

The Chinese companies need to come to their senses and stop throwing around useless tech and useless specs. Need to take some lessons from Apple and Google. Sometimes less is more.

Why does Google not want to compete with Apple.

      I'm expecting more from them

The USP for this phone is certainly going to be its compact form factor, apart from pure Android experience of course. So it will not sell in millions, but will find some takers for sure as long as the pricing is right.

Kudos for the screen size. Hopefully Chinese will wake up and start offering at least 1 decent compact phone in their lineups. Everything else is 1 year old. Gcam is available for many. Will not buy even if I was in need to.
                  Overpriced and outdated.

Whackcar, 03 Aug 2020Certainly a better deal than the Nord. Not much difference ... morePlastic build, cheap camera, cheap processor, low refresh rate, small battery, smaller screen, nord is better but I hate its plastic frame, 350-400 isnt realy cheap just phones got priced more than laptops these days!!!

So,a $200 phone, judging by the build materials, chipset, battery...but with good Oled display, old but solid camera sensor and great camera software...and it's twice the price,in Europe at least.Availability as usual...for some selected markets...

Give it a first 100€ discount that usually follows every pixel release and I have a perfect phone for my mum ;)
TBH that image sensor feels archaic in spec department, 1/2,55" ... and it take better pictures than some with 1/1,5" or bigger ... that's impressive.

AnonD-124847, 03 Aug 202090% people are conformists 😉No, they just love better things, and better things is bigger screen.

NEELAM4, 03 Aug 2020Battery is the only deal breaker hereYep I mean how much would a 3500 or 4000mah battery cost? Like 5-10 dollars more? They purposely nerf the specs.

That's a joke. Only 128GB of unexpandable storage, tiny battery, single camera.

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2020Stock Android sucks no one likes it. It lacks useful featuresStock ROM skips practically all the useful features that are more likely to be present on other Android skins (irrespective of whether they are light or heavy skins).

People who brag about stock ROM being better usually lack experience of using different Android skins (especially skins from 2020).
I run my own shop selling phones from different brands, so I know what I am talking about.

I have used All type of phones as daily driver in the past decade.
About 30-40 phones over a period of time mostly flagships.

In 2020, I'll rather use one ui, miui, zen ui based Androids over stock OS which lacks latest features and is basically playing catchup.
