For the people complaining about the price this is a phone with stock android, 730g(which is good for most people even for games) and almost the best camera for Android (like SE has for ios), yes it is a smaller phone with small battery so it might eliminate your redmi, poco realme, OPPO etc but people not bent on getting the best specs who want good camera with software with Amoled 60hz (not all people demand a 90 or 120hz) and small phone this is the perfect phone(hopefully it has XL model though 😂 and it is made in India so it won't have large price difference when compared to the nord and phones Made in India)

I know there'll be people crying about how their Chinese Phone is just better. But please, just stop. You know this is the best mobile camera for under 350$. Plus you, for once are getting a software experience that's not designed by a 12 years old kid.

I wonder what imaging sensor it has. That, and the processing will decide how well it does.
Pricing is excellent. Everything else needs to be reviewed well.

Well like always google is 1 year late.If they released this 1 year before it would be good enough but now is just meh.I am sure this phone to produce is on par with maybe redmi 8 in terms of price.Sorry but is not worth it to buy at this price in my eyes.Chinese rule the market and there is a reason for it.Cheap price with very good performance (xiaomi, huawei, vivo,)

Damn.... Just got the news that Pixel 4a will launch in India in October.
That should be priced at that time at Rs.25,000 ($350) in October.

Charging £349 in the UK vs €340 in Germany is ridiculous.
The £ is worth more than the Euro
Google are either trying to rip off UK consumers or they need someone who can multiply and divide exchange rates properly

Considering it has single cam (probably imx363), the ugly square was nothing necessary.
Why making the phone so ugly?
Should be front of Pixel 4 and rear of 3a. Easy.

If I wanted an overpriced phone with terrible battery life I'd get an iPhone. Not Google's knock-off iPhone

Small battery, big price. But nice that Google and Apple are showing everybody that nobody needs 64 or 108 mpix to provide classleading photos (except for maybe Huawei which uses a 50 mpix sensor).

Finally, after literally months of leaks and rumors. At $350, should be a fairly decent budget buy, as long as that price applies worldwide which, looking at the comments, seems unlikely.
