Why is everyone here assuming this is real? Amazing how everyone forgets what happened in the run up to the release of the 4S. For all we know, this is a leak from Samsung because Qualcomm is giving them too much competition. That rumor has the same credence as the rumor in the article.

Why not a dual-core Krait or Cortex A15? Benchmarks have shown that dual-core Kraits/Cortex A15 outperform quad-core Cortex A9s in both performance and battery life......

But it is definately no... moreyeah I got that impression too, it does appear to smooth but thats because it is slow, especially with their toy like screen transitions, its certainley not fast! Browsing is terrible on the iphone and with no flash support it just gets worst!

samsung will still be samsung even without the apple as its market(in terms of hardware), im not a samsung fan and apple hater either but i think apple is too much abusing the patience that samsung have,,, why that samsung just stop supplying apple so that the connections between will come to an end once and for all, though i understand,,, its all business, but apple''s way to face competitors is so unfair... Theyre too abusive... Frustrating me too try they'r iphones,,, btw,,, im a proud NOKIA user frm PH.

The smoothness comes from slowing down of the processes. Take scrolling a page for example. Android - a quick flick and it zooms to the bottom with pixelation as it goes, on iOS you have to swipe, swipe, swipe ... yes it's smooth but slow.

I completely agree to all that stuff you've said about the software thing... It's a matter that almost everyone should watch instead of going to technical specs first, because its not the hardware but the real matter fact it's how the software manages to use that hardware in it's most fluid way to act.

iOS is much a far less demanding OS then Android. An iphone with the S3's Exynos quad core under the hood would be able to rip every single Android device currently in production. Things are going to get extremely intense...

is samsung doesnt like apple then i really think they shouldnt sell them exynos chips. They would be losing allot of business but apple might have a hard time finding another quad core chip, and they would have to make all of their software compatable with t he new chip.
