How did they squeeze a 4kmah battery in these dimensions?? Knowing that it is slightly slimmer than its former.

Hoping it's true but sounds doubtful. Don't think there's space for such a battery with this kind of size.

Personally avoiding buying anything tech chnese, there is a good, proper and justifiable reason why everyone is now moving their production out of there. They are all enraged about what they played out this yr, and extra stuff just keeps emerging.

Headphone jack and expandable, promising looking camera setup too. Let's just hope they don't drop the ball with the battery and it's atleast 4,500mah

Fearghast, 28 Aug 2020You have to just look at Xperia 1 II:
1) No night mode
2)... moreyou know...
1. ToF is hardware. there is software to use as replacement...
2. nightmode is also software, it can be implemented anytime as an update. with good quality sony cameras is not a problem, just a matter of cost and time (in IT they pretty much go hand in hand...) to get it right.
when about 1II.. i played a little bit with one: a pretty cool device, good quality / sturdiness feeling, and a few really good pics. if i'm not mistaken, yesterday somebody posted here a link to a photo gallery. you can check yourself... not being a chinese cheap device, it worth the money. with the discount and without vat i could get it for some 800, but i prefer a smaller device, like the 5II or iphone 1x pro.

soo its a compact 1 II that swaps the stupid resolution for a useful 120hz boost, they might as well call it 1 III

Even though I will probably not buy this phone (because of high price, probably somewhere 800EUR), it is good that models like this appear on the horizon (from trust worthy companies). Is good to see something else than your typical Chinese phones..full of bloatware and spy apps.
Congrats Sony.
