We all know that there are more DHD users worldwide and that includes me. This is one of the best phone HTC ever made. I think that this issue about HDH will not get an upgrade is just a scam. They just want us to get confused and buy a new phone and don't buy HTC products anymore.
HTC... please so something about this! If this is not true, so let us know. We want an upgrade on our DHD. Please, I love my DHD.

Wow, I had hopes to try out the ICS, on the DHD.
Have already decided not to upgrade my Xperia Mini Pro, just to keep it SonyEricsson and not make it a Sony phone.
Can't say I need the ICS as Android become perfect (for me) with 2.2 (Bluetooth file transfer and Wifi Hotspot).
Will I ever try out ICS it won't be on a HTC product, as HTC produce mobiles with inferior hardware and lack knowledge how to make phones with card slots and replaceable batteries.

I own a HTC DHD. Been having it since Jan 2011. And a huge HTC fan too. I support HTC ardently whenever there's any phone debate going on with my peers. Planning to buy a new Win Phone in 6-8 months time. Would not get a HTC if the DHD doesn't get ICS now. Would definitely switch to Nokia and say Thank you HTC!

Slug, 16 Jul 2012That's a very good point - I have one of these and was awai... moreSlug, I think you won't regret it, I did the same thing, I am on Note now. DHD users won't find the other screen ratio comfortable.

Same move as samsung, they don't want to update the galaxy s plus because of "hardware" limitation but still makes stupid underclocked phones that comes with ICS, this is just market strategy to force people to buy new handsets. I mean common, I would never buy a new one if the old one still working!
