Antinomy, 21 Sep 2020I bought this phone in I bought this phone in august and it was amazing hardware but in terms of software oppo here in the EU is selling us a lemon, no access to themes and most other cloud services.. No access to unlock the bootloader therefore no root.. As I said A lemon!
I had to return it :/

Lol Chinabrands spends too much on advertising and not enough on quality hardware.

The device is indisputable one of the top for 2020. The device build quality is just amaze and we really fell something premium. No bugs, global performances are much more better than the competitors.
The mistake made by Oppo is they were too much thinking EU people will recognize them as OnePlus progenitors and they will understand the Find X2 as a higher range solution than One Plus 8 Pro.
They should be more aggressive in marketing and offers as what Huawei did during several years.
If I could spend 1K on a phone, that will be definitely on this one.

This phone is just as great as any flagship from any big brand.
It's even better in some ways
If you're not buying it because the brand isn't known enough, because
people won't spot it & tell ya "Oh you get the lastest [Insert big name flagship], lucky you !"
then you're a superficial individual with poor taste & little to none personality.
A device's quality is what makes a brand's notoriety, not the opposite.

I think this title should go to v60 , it doesn't have crazy specs like other flagships but it is great device that didn't get a lot of attention

Curved screen = Yuck!
No 3.5mm headphone jack = Fail
No Card slot = What?
Price still 1000€/1000USD.
Sorry, Sony and LG outdid this, at a cheaper price.
At 500-600€ the omissions would haven been understandable, but at the price level Xiaomi/Poco/Realme give a strong competition.

the fact i can buy a mi 10 less than 500 euros is already a reason its not underrated, its just too expensive for a practical need

I bought my find x2 pro for about 760 € (brand new) here in Bulgaria. One plus 8pro (900 €) and s20 Ultra (1150€) are quite more expensive here. That's why i think i made the right choise. I'm excited about the new ColorOs 11 coming at the end of the year because looks very promising.

Oppo should first understand that they need to make a name and dish out reliable products, then they can increase price to match the samsungs and iphones

It checks all the boxes, so I have no idea what you're babbling about.
Good battery life with very fast charging, one of the best cameras, QHD 120hz display and very complete software.

It's not even underrated. It's Oppo who is to blame here for the ridiculous price, way over 1000 Euro in Europe, as a relative newcomer. Especially in this day and age of incredibly sharp priced pseudo flagships.

I own the Find X2 Pro and love it. This phone is super fast and the camera modules are really good. Hamster in Germany we get the 12GB RAM & 512GB storage version for €900, so wow, can't beat it!
