From the first look on it I thought how beautiful it is....but than, that much curved screen is a NO GO for me.
Than, there is a price...if I would ever count 1000€ for a smartphone, it would be iPhone.
That's the only phone that keeps it's value and it is possible to sell it used even after 2 years.
OPPO, 1+, Xiaomi....they should fight some other price categories.

I understand that technologies costs, and that greedy Qualcomm is to blame for this year's price increases, but if phone manufacturers believe that it is only Covid19 that make their sales disaster this year, they are even more cut off reality, than I thought.
They need to make phones as they did a year ago.
30% cheaper than this year, but still in flagship territory.
No one wants 1000€ OPPO smartphone.

      Oppo headphones are different story.

most underrated? of course. when a company who's not well known make a top flagship phone like that and charge for it almost 1400 US, it meant to failed.

if they went like OP in the early stages, they would have succeed. almost every person if they had to or wanted to buy a phone around that price tag, they would rather buy samsung or iphone insted of buying this "anonymous" phone and take chances.
they should have set a way lower price tag, maybe even take some "losses" in order to boost this phone up the ground and make people awareness to this phone.

I would have got it myself but the lack of wireless charging is a deal breaker for me. I have a night stand with an integrated charger, so my next phone must have it.

This is an amazing phone. GSMArena is right. It's so underestimated. I have always said. That this is my favorite conventional flagships. It is an amazing phone. With an excellent OS. I don't understand the negative comments?

AresinUAE, 21 Sep 2020Is underrated the right term for this product? If anything ... moreAlso slight continuation this is Oppo's Find series. It's where the most expensive lineup and it's where they innovate the most. These phones are to show off what Oppo can do.

AresinUAE, 21 Sep 2020Is underrated the right term for this product? If anything ... moreFor 1400 comparing to the Samsung. This phone is better. The autofocusing is better than the S20 Ultra. The screen is on par. The sensor is much better in my opinion since it has bigger pixels and you don't get boring coloured glass. You get vegetarian leather or ceramic. It looks unique, it feels premium and yet it's getting updates frequently. Has every feature you'd expect from a flagship. $1400 is steep but this phone makes up for it better than any other similarly priced phones. It's not perfect but it's one of the better ones.

However, it must be remembered that Oppo is doing the worst system that they cannot fix themselves. Many users have lost their regional settings from the menu, making software updates impossible. Oppo has no idea how to fix it, the only option is to send the phone to the service, which returns it with scratches, unsealed or even worse.

Not just underrated but unavailable in a lot of places. Which is a shame.

GSMarena has called it, the best flagships this year are:
                          1. Oppo Find X2 Pro;
                          2. Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro; and
                          3. Huawei P40 Pro/Pro+.

Is underrated the right term for this product? If anything i think it is overrated - for 1400 dollars (at least where Im at) for a phone like this is just stupid and asking too much, its like they really dont intend for people to buy it.

                              An amazing phone

My goodness. You echo my thoughts. I had made exact similar videos. I get more hate if I say it's better than Oxygen OS with Color OS V11. But trust me am using the vanilla Oppo Find X2 and the in hand feel is so good that I sold more feature rich OnePlus 8 pro to retains this one.

It's not underrated, it's just too expensive. And people don't trust OPPO as they trust other brands when it comes to future updates.
