It's an amazing phone that most people overlook.

I've had my Find X2 Pro for a month now, and agree, Oppo have missed a trick by not marketing this. The one killer thing this review missed: 512GB of storage. I'm struggling to fully utilise that feature!

Underrated my foot.. look at the price of this phone. Why I would not choose a Samsung/ Apple flagship for the same price?

      no 3.5mm headphone jack

If a brand that isn't that well known wants to make to top 10 with a single lineup they shouldn't price a phone anywhere near top known model. Offer a phone with good specs for a good price and people will try it out for sure.
Price this kind of phone and brand at 1000 € and most people will rather give 100-200 € and get a real flagship phone of a well known brand.
This was poor marketing and that's why it failed.
If Oppo Find X2 Pro cost 20-30 % less it could be another story.

Most if not all were expecting another innovative design following the motorized pop-up in find x which hid all cameras front and back. But then they gave us this punch hole, it's understandable why people would not give it much attention. It's just one of those punch hole phones, regardless of other hardware.

The display on both this and the OP8 Pro is awful because those stupid over-curved edges look green almost all the time regardless of the brightness level.
There's nothing wrong with curving the glass is you want to but by curving the display itself you are forcing it off-angle to the main flat plane.
Now my V50 has excellent off-angle colour reproduction, this display does not - and yes, I have actually held and used a OP8 Pro.

IpsDisplay, 21 Sep 2020The X2 pro deserves its underrated "punishment" ... moreThis is what happens as well, when a phone has features the majority won't care. Use a OS that's average (late updates, sometimes buggy). Slap a high price. And has weak aftersales and service support.

I did try the Find X2 Pro and Neo, the feel in hand is quite good, but does not justify its high selling point. It's an Oppo by the way.

Expensive iPhone or Galaxy still sells more, the latter.

Oppo also struggles to sell the Reno in existence of Redmi & Realme (low budget phone users don't prioririze build quality)

Much better than One UI? WTH..

The X2 pro deserves its underrated "punishment"

Why change your engineering language from motorized pop up to look like a generic punch hole phone?

The phone had nothing outstanding going for it among its competition

                        Average battery life ....check

Virtually equal display quality to other flagships.. check
Only the vocal minority actually cares about 120hz at full resolution

Average camera versatility.. check (p40 pro+ has the 10x to grab attention for example)

Don't think I've seen any price reduction since it came out in Australia, whereas Samsung is on sale every other week lol

Its just an OP 8 pro 300 dollars expensive

Underrated, maybe. But that's also because of the fact thats it's a generic smartphone from 2020 in the high end segment. Put this, the OP 8 Pro or the Mi 10 and even the Moto Edge +, and I'd have a hard time telling which is which. Not to mention that there isn't really something that makes it stand out for a 1200€ smartphone, at least for me.
The Find X impressed a lot of people with its motorized cameras, this one clearly shares a lot with a OP 8 Pro on the other hand. That's maybe not a bad thing, but the OP is 900€, and comes from a more "common" brand.
