Their search engine is the one for long time and non can compete with Google.
Its an open source and free and easily customize so you can forget any OS to compete except if Ubuntu came up with their edition for Phone OS.

AnonD-8044, 19 Jul 2012Symbian is still useable and no-one on here has posted why ... moreThats misleading, 1.3GHz ARM11 processor, thats still twice as slow processing as a 1GHz A8 processor, and even slower because of the slow memory subsystem on ARM11.

The rest of your post is fanboyish personal nitpicking opinions. Who was waiting for N95 updates??? A few fanboys at best, less than 50 ppl worldwide, nothing that would cause a problem for nokias sales, most ppl didnt even know this, and those who knew didnt care.

Nokia needs to plug its hole, they are losing money hand over fist just because nobody wants a symbian/s40/s60 device when they can buy a mid range android phone. Nokia needs to wise up to the saying if you can't beat them join them. Keep the windows phone lumia line but change the Asha line, they already have 1ghz processors, so just add android then you have a mid to low range smart phone to sell to the masses.

No one know how well WM8 would perform? Have Windows come up with winning strategy already which had convince Nokia senior management that it would help them capture market share away from Andriod, iOS and RIM? Maybe answer is yes which is why we continuing to see them betting hopes on WM8.

Nokia had many good technologies and patent but forgotten how to sell them.

Please show us (consumer) again how we can continue to enjoy your technological innovative mobile devices with slim, long battery life, light weight, 41MP camera, waterproof and connectivity.

Funny how people say "Megapixels don't matter" and then they say, "just imagine a Pureview on Android, DROOLGASM" Lol

anyway, on topic, sucks that nokia are struggling but once MeeGo left Nokia, they lost all hope of seriously competing.

Jolla just signed a China deal but hopefully that expands to meet the other parts of the world as well because MeeGo is the Future OS.

Plz stephen elop, do go for android.
