A more in-depth breakdown of manufacturer sales by country would be more useful than just the total sales. Im guessing Huawei new sales without GMS, is from China mainly, and a few other countries which doesn't use banking app, or have public transport using Visa/Mastercard NFC contactless payment. I can't imagine going from paying with my phone, to looking for my cards and train tickets.

Lol,not a single android flagship there as per usual.Great to see the ENTIRE iPhone 11 range up there,including the 11 Pro Max. :)

Sales are probably affect by the increase in pricing than the C virus. The flagship nowadays are serious OTT expensive!

But I would find an all day battery more important. Every human goes to sleep for 7 - 8 hours and that's a good time to charge your phone. No worrying about charging about the next 16 hours. That turns to a habit and so it doesn't matter how fast your phone charges.

Many just sticks to the Samsung / Huawei account one rather than ever making a gmail... Would these people even care? The sales of Huawei devices is apparently still happening since they are shipping many units to replace the ones already sold... If the sanctions alone is the cause or not is not guaranteed considering Covid-19 is also probable cause for declining sales... Also Samsung had even bigger loss of sales this year! O_O

Not without Google services, zero chance. Current sales this year already been showing that. More and more people are leaving Huawei every day and people are afraid to buy Huawei phones. If people won't buy Huawei phones there won't be support from devs either. So this is basicly same situation than with Windows Phone, more or less. No sales no developer support=zero chance to success, competition is way too big already it was even already in times with windows phone. People will forget Huawei and move on. Who want to use their hard earned money for halk baked experience.

They did not do it since they wanted full control of the apps and decided to sink rather than update the phones to run Android apps... Biggest mistake they EVER DID! Now Huawei is not a new platform its still Android and Harmony soon coming will aslo be Android App compatible unlike Tizen & Windows who came before it. True it was not enough to save Blackberry from doom but Blackberry didn't realize how screwed they were until it was to late Huawei still can make a comeback and their offers to app developers are far better terms then what Google gives, hell even local Chinese app makers gets a worse deal than the rest of the world here...

Huawei will always come way behind, just like WIndows Phone did and we all know how it ended. Why bother when market are full of great choices with full experience already. Where you don't need to worry if this and this will ever reach to your device or will it work.

Anonymous, 07 Oct 2020You replied to me and goal wasn't get phone without go... moreWell apps are still being transferred to AppGallery in massive amounts, multiple banks are currently working on getting their banking services working with HMS not to mention most basic apps actually do work without GMS the biggest and ONLY hurdle I had when testing a P40 Lite was to play games... Now some games can be played trough VMOS emulator tough some games have bugs/issues tough most seem to work! Fortnite(no GMS issue can run without it) is a odd cookie it refused to be downloaded from Epics launcher since it claimed the device did not meet "minimum requirements" despite being better than Reame 3 Pro tough sending the app from the Realme 3 Pro to the P40 Lite did let me start the game and play it smoother than on the other device... So far EVERYTHING I can do on the P40 Lite except the games so I am currently pondering if I should install the GMS or not, since there are multiple ways to do it. :)

No matter if you like google or not the fact is that it's in everybody's life and it's very hard to live without it. That's why hardly no-one outside China is buying Huawei non google phones. Like i said such a group who hate google is really really small and won't make any noticable difference for Huawei.

This map is incomplete but if next iPhone follow same trend as before it can be as costly as 40% higher in some countries making the Huawei devices sub 100-300eur value very much worth considering...

It's not. It's very niche group. and even if there is then they will buy iPhone. Sales show that there is very very low demand for Huawei non google phones everywhere except in China.

Many are pissed at Google for all kinds of reasons such as getting locked out of their phone with NO HELP TO GET, or how Chrome keeps spamming them with ads or how hard it is to remove Google software when their storage is filled to the brink and SD cards doesn't help because most of these poor people bought a damn Samsung! O_O` (working at a phone store is stressful trust me...)
