windows: 95% users, THOUSANDS of OEMs = Hot fragmented mess.
mac os: 5% users, ONE company = Highly Optimised.
Windows will remain as the commoners/mass OS of choice, whereas Mac os will continue to reign supreme in the upper market segment.

Apple DOMINATES the high end market segment it is not even an opinion. Android OEMs are cutting their margins to remain competitive. Why do you think Apple has been the most profitable smartphone brand for well over a decade?

Real premium phones are out of reach of most users.
400$ is affordable for a lot of people. 2000$ isn't.

In this under 200 bucks there are lots of choices for hardware. Going with brands like nokia, lg and samsung then you wont get any good specs. But going with Xiaomi, Realme or that type of brands then you already get a lot from these phones specs wise. You can pretty much already get SD732 for something 210 euro as Poco x3 nfc and for most people these specs are enough to do everything they need out of a phone

They aren't, Apple alone sells 56% of over $400 phones in the market. Currently the number is propably 60% already, if not more.
