It's like saying Toyota is better than Porsche just because they churn out 3 million Yaris and Aygo cars a year and Porsche only makes 50.000 of their flagship 911's a year... Delusional fanboyism at its finest. In the end, Apple is the trend setter, because Apple is the Porsche of mobile phones. They make small, but reliable changes on top of high performance platform and there are people who want that over drastic year to year changes. But I guess you're too delusional and self absorbed to comprehend that with your primitive "bigger number is better" mentality.

I said very clearly that if iOS was available to other manufacturers, Apple wouldn't have 1 billion active devices (iPhones).
They aren't discussing one particular model, they are counting all iPhones.
Since all the smartphones that Apple launches run iOS and are called iPhones, hence my comment.

No Samsung
No Huawei
No Chinese phone
Can solemnly have active users fir over 1billion , only iPhone.
In South Africa I'm waiting for iPhone 12 but in the meantime I'm rocking my iPhone 11. My favorite company HTC is dead so I had no choice but to opt for iPhone

80% will three- four years old iPhones! I seriously doubt such reports that can't be verified.....They ship annually 73-80 million iphones(shipped & the number on the higher side of the estimate) in the last few years and there were many years around 45 millions....and initial few years it was lar ess than 10 millions....that means all iPhone ever produced are still active (no battery issues for 10-12 years!!!😇🤣😃🥺 seems like a good joke unless 100 millions = one billion!
