For all iphone lovers and haters check supersaf camera comparison between iphone 12 max pro, note 20 ultra and mate 40 pro. Don't trust DxOMark result I think over hyping the camera, every phone trade blows against each other.

    They literally just bashed the magsafe duo charger calling it overpriced.

    Then their review of the homepod mini said that it was inferior to alexa and google assistant.

    The people that say verge is apple biased don't actually read their articles.

              As a person who just wants to take family, holiday photos etc all I see in this forum are a group of individuals, many, not all of whom are more interested in petty point scoring than photo quality! Given that the vast majority of phones are bought by punters like me who simply want reasonable quality photos it all seems pretty childish. From a camera perspective in my experience serious photographers would rather use a stand alone camera for their profession shoots than a phone camera any way!

                just open the sample on dxo site open full size photo samples and you see the difference.
                well ofc there's a limit of how far they can go with mp and don't end up losing the pixel light . i don't deny that. but just check and see the huge gap in details.

                          I don’t agree with DxO Mark

                            I like the colour rendition in general but there's one scene that shows iPhone 12 Pro clearly went over the top with HDR tonemapping, and turning a pale blue sky into a solid chunk of blue that looks even more fake than the one you can see on PS sky replacement feature while making the trees and leaves in the background awfully oversaturated. I've seen my friend's iPhone 11 Pro often behaving similarly that when taking a portrait shot with blue sky in the background, but it has never been this bad. Hopefully Apple will address this sort of HDR inconsistency in future updates.

That's how some phone manufacturers managed to come up with a 2x lossless digital zoom solution using Quad Bayer sensor and clever image fusion algorithms.

Let's see how well it performs against the best and greatest from Android peers like Mi 10 Ultra or Mate 40 Pro.

                                      The moment you start including Android Flagships, iPhone camera quality starts to look pale in comparison.
                                      It's like going back to year 2017 in terms of camera, fast charging, design, etc.
                                      User interface is outdated at best even with the recent ability to customize.

                                        Just saw some comparisons of 12 pro Max, in daytime the photos are overexposed, with colors messed up in certain images coz of auto hdr. Noise is ever present because of tiny sensor.
                                        It simply looked artificial and not natural look like Mi 10 ultra.
