Sure thing buddy Don't know about you, but i would take thinner and wider product inside my pocket any day over narrower very thick product. You know that's why our smarphones these days are quite thin. Biggest problem with foldables are that they are REALLY thick because there's basicly two phones. Surface Duo is atleast very thin foldable which make it feel quite small actually, even it's not product i would buy.

I'm not sure how wide you think the phone is, i can even put my 11 Pro sideways to my jeans pocket and that's not good fit, but Duo is nowhere that wide.

Also I've watched several reviews of the Duo, it will only fit inside the pockets of a cargo pants, not regular jeans. Sure it's thin enough but huge and not that pocket friendly.

Exactly! Something Android boys just doesn't understand. Innovation itself doesn't do anything. You need to switch that innovation to something which appeal people and then you have winner, just like Apple have many of them. Newest are their M1 computers which are praised everywhere.

It's about if you can market your stuff or polish it in such a way that it's actually appealing to users, not just to tech Youtubers who make clickbait titles for it. Prime example being Sony Ericsson actually first making the touch smartphones yet failing to make them really appealing to the consumers. Apple did that. Apple didn't invent wireless earphones either. They did popularize them by making them compact and convenient. Apple did MANY things that were nowhere near "first". But they were their best take and it worked. They know how to make things popular and it's not just by fanboys gobbling up everything they release. They know how to make things work just right to be widely accepted by users.

All foldables combined in the market have propably sold 1-2 million if not less. What's the point release such a product which won't sell?
This news that it will still take two years with Apple to release one just shows how they aren't happy how the foldable could work this day, they want to be ready when and if they release it someday. There might be that it won't never come. Currently markets shows very tiny interest towards foldables.

Every smartphone company been experimenting foldables for years already and been waiting if there's point to release one. Then there's companies who just want to be first, no matter if product have market or not and when you rush something to market to be first it usually ends up being beta test device which will have very slow sales=read galaxy fold and mate X and Motorola, Surface Duo and so on.
