shipping with an incompatible cable is a reason for extra carbon emission. apple had to ship with type-a cable before referring using old adapters. besides, new iphone is more expensive with less content. This is simply dishonesty.

Sometimes I wonder in this world where most of people are literate enough to know about consumer rights and having lot of choice and options a greedy and anti consumer company like Apple stilll exit🤔 calling itself innovative but that innovation ended with the first iphone

If they really care about the environment by reducing e-wastes, they should make products that made to last for at least 10 years for example.

They don’t have to sell it along with the device. Can keep it optional. If people do not want the charger, they should get a discount (of the price what they sell the charger at). This is giving environment as reason and trying to keep the profit margins

The point is apple trying to justify their reason to squeeze more from customer by saying "saving" environment while in reality, it won't help anything at all. Most customer will likely but a either converter, because nowadays universal charger rarely comes with usb c for the output - usually still usb A, thus the converter male usb A to female usb C. Or a whole new adapter, which is intended by Apple.
I'd support this pro customer agency, apple should stop bullshitting and do the really right things instead of just removing the charger.

Apple should be called out by this. iPhones were already expensive in the first place. And you know that if they make a move, Android OEMs will also follow suit. The issue here is that Apple are already making tons and tons of money. Isn't that enough? I guess Steve Jobs wouldn't be happy about that. It just become expensive because money is waisted in good advertising that isn't really necessary because not all country can see that ad. Apple fans might think this is just people against apple but think again, they are making more and more profit the more you lock yourself into them and all their moves are so called "revolutionary" and "Innovation".

Without charger half the size of the box, so more product can be shipped on a single pallet which saves Apple lot of money on freight...and users still paying Apple for their chargers, one stone two birds. Wish my Apple fans friends can actually see the truth of Apple action.

Well the best way to cope with apple is just skip them when buying there are gazzilions of other and lot better phone brands and companies which do everything to satisfy its customers unlike the apple which doing opposite.

Eco friendly lmao. If Apple want a real eco friendly, just stop some of their factories, because waste from electronic factory is hazardous and cause pollution.

If they cared, they would have used USB-C a long time ago, and on top of that they don't even include the right cable for "all those chargers lying around".

ALL gadget u bought up till this days are electrical waste.
If u really support in reducing electrical waste, u'll have to stop buying ANY Apple-related products; ALL recent Apple products have 0% repairability, as they paired every little components in their products, some Apple accessories even become e-waste immediately when the battery become faulty (Airpods!)
Another prove is the fact that they still keep using 'Lightning' port & keep bundled 2$ cable which only last 6months (at most a year if u'r lucky).
99% Android OEM have moved to USB-C & keep using the same USB-A brick since 2009 (only difference is voltage), which is TRUE environment-friendly, but no Android OEM so far hypocrite enough to use this fact as their marketing campaign.
Not to mention most Android OEM bundled decent quality cables which last years, and headsets!
