yes they are, just like Apple kind of did already with 12 pro line keeping last year price while adding 5G, which alone makes price hike for $100 or more normally.

Also EIS decreases quality, because it does crop.
1.1x crop makes 3840x2160 become 3456x1944.
Reason gimbal is better hand handheld .

Other phone that uses EIS strongly at lowlight suffer from this type of artefacts

Check samples of any phone that has the 3 focal lengths.
The ultra wide always has the most stabilized footage.
The one without OIS.
Unless you need to use shutter speed near 1s for photos, OIS is useless in any other situation.

So you are fine with S20 and Note 20 pricing? clearly majority isn't because those phones are selling really badly. According to news S21 will be noticable cheaper ($100-$150) than S20 and clearly removing these accessories are one reason for lower price.
Why people see this as so big problem? those who need charger can buy one and others are enjoying cheaper prices because they don't need to pay extra for things they already have many.

once again, android phones follow the greedy way of apple. android phones manufaturers could have left apple in the dust years ago if only they would have ignore the stupid trends apple thinks is the way to go. no innovations from apple for years now, but once again, the brain dead android manufaturers can't help themselves but to be stupid.
sony, lg and google seem to not follow the trend that much, but they also seem to make poor design choices that are not so popular with users.

Nice move samsung by making fool out of yourself and it is even more shameful this time around well at least with headphone jack it took you few years and what makes this even more stupid is that budgets and midranges will come with accessories in the box unlike flagships which is supposed to be the device with everything but this changed with recent years , i guess ? And that's why i like sony and lg they don't follow these stupid trends at least for right now

They downgraded the notes to plastic backs except for the most expensive one and will kill it entirely next year to give way to the more expensive z fold and now this. On the positive side, 3 years of os updates. Yay? I'm on an iphone for 2 years now and have been eyeing some brands to jump back to android but samsung is def out along with oneplus. Xiaomi pls save android.

Samsung has slapped consumers hard. It is now time to buy those exploding chargers and clones that never last. I wonder how buying a phone in a box, charger in another box and earphone in a third one saving the environment. Many third party cables and chargers are not even compatible with specific device charging speeds. Today, am officially done with samsung.
