Pease tell me what settings you use to take photos? No matter how, SCN or manual settigs, I'm still not satisfied with the camera quality.

Lol.. seems like s3 user kept denied. I have no problem aginst s3 on faceoff battle to prove sony xperia s are the best.

having jelly bean pure android rom is a welcome addition that will make this phone a top phone to get because the software will make the phone, however saying its better than the galaxy s3 is just stupid, i can tell you right now that 1. the xperia s screen quality is terible! look and turn the phone on the side and you will see so much light bleed through the screen the blacks arnt even black they are grey, 2. the build quality is so stale that they put little flaps over the ports to pull out when you wanna charge or connect to a tv, how many times do you see these snap? 3. the capacitive buttons are so unresponsive its annoying not to mention the shape of the phone feels horrible due to the sharp square edges likes the iphone,
yes with the jellybean update it will run fast but for now the sony skin they use is soooo slow and rubbish compared to touch wiz. i like sony alot especially playstaion but i must say their phones are pants, samsung smashed it with the s3, big up everyone who has one!

AnonD-14560, 19 Aug 2012No matter you or Google said, the fact is that Xperia S is ... moreGo buy a clue and come back after you learn that Xperia phones ExmorR camera sensors which are back light iluminated sensors aka. kicks assof any other camera sensor pixel for pixel, and have Bravia imaging engine + TRUE COLOR representation with the help of equal amounts of red blue and green pixels, has hdmi, has awesome build quality, and lower price. Sure it's not perfect, there's things that S3 does better, like a tiny bit faster, but still worse camera sensor(nothign can touch the ExmorR on Megapixel to megapixel basis, it's the technology thats the key point), has amoled with the blue/white tint, totaly FAKe colors and worse pixel structure, has the clunky mhl adapter for tv out in stead of hdmi, mhl needs power, hdmi mini ot hdmi is just a tiny little adapter that fits on a keychain, and S3 is also more expensive while there's no justification of that. Overall the two phones are quite equall, and if you want the best screen with the best colors and best camera sensor then Xperia phones will outsmart the S3.

Xperia S has a better screen (More PPI, True RGB and Bravia Engine), better camera with a better sensor, better DAC with much better sound and xLoud, better design, better build quality (Poly-Carbonate + Anti-Stain shell), Playstation Certified, comes with MUCH more stuff bundled in the box (Sony in-ear noise canceling headphones, HDMI cable, 2 screen protectors, 2 smart tags, wall charger and a car charger) and is also about 120$ cheaper than the S3.
How is the S3 better? Because it offers a quad core SoC? If you say so then your comment is automatically ignored.

Sony's ics timescrap launcher is indeed ugly and boxy. I replaced it in my neo v with launcher apk from nexus s ROM to get more ics feel.
