We'll have improved CPU numbers due to overclocking and improved efficiency. Add faster UX, GPU scores to it and the Chinese will scale the 900k mark in Antutu.

(And yeah, I know that gpu is more, however given the obnoxious mobile controls it goes to waste anyway)...
Just hope that Qualcomm will not become the next Intel, though it increasingly seems so (there is a reason that AMD ate their launch, yearly 5% increases for a solid decade does not cut it).

Terrible thermal throttling.
Lack of low latency screen.
Lack of 240hz touch sampling rate.
Poor battery life during gaming.
No air triggers.
No game mode.
Wouldn't touch an iPhone for gaming with a 10 foot pole.

A14 based on 5nm (available in Nov-Dec 2020)
Sd888 based on 5nm (available in Late Dec 2020, early Jan 2021)
Sd888 is fair comparison to A14 as there is hardly a couple of months of gap.

As I was saying if the next A15 gains only 10 FPS again in that Aztec Ruins benchmark, the next Snapdragon will catch up if it gains 32 FPS again.
So Apple better focus on performance next year and not efficiency.

Well by your logic. Since antutu is comparable geekbench isn't either.
Geekbench just seems like BS look at the lastest ryzen processor they say the A14 is close to that. Guess what it isn't when apple were flexing about how powerful was the A14 for gaming. They said one game. League of Legends. League of legends really??? A game that can run perfectly on your single core laptop and that's the thing that apple flex with. Really.

I think after 2/3 years you well be able to play cyberpunk 2077 on mobile (if they well be mobile version ) with sd 800 series

Considering how the 865 in v60, oneplus 8, mi 10 etc in those charts have almost the same scores in peak and sustained, the 888 could atleast be on par with a14 gpu. We'll have to see actual device reviews.

Marginal increases. I agree the best part of it is the modem on board. Waiting to see what next year brings.
