You could use the theme store to replicate stock Android which is what I always do. I've used MIUI versions prior to Android 10 and they run fine, actually I don't even have an Android 10 device. Now certain Xiaomi phones already feel sluggish out of the box. EMUI looks awful until 8.0 but performance is snappy even on midrange and the design is getting better with similarities to OneUI.

              Is it still the case that low to mid Xiaomi phones still filled with ads? How about the high end like Mi Pro?

                        Miui 12, although better than Miui 11, uses more power than before. Battery life is still good on my device but just not as good as before. I'm really looking forward to less power usage on Miui 12.5.

                          i'm looking forward for this update because the 12.2 - android 11 global stable update seriously messed up my xiaomi mi 10 pro 5g. hope to release a global stable version soon with no bugs like the previous one.

                                Been using Miui since version 7. I never log in with MI account, neither Google, yet the out of the box features from Miui are more than enough for daily use.

Nowadays even s... moreThat's what most people think, but as a person who have tested almost every ROM be it company provided or as a custom install on low end devices. Most of these skins haven't got much lighter, instead the hardware has gotten much more powerful.
                                  Stock android feels and is still a lot lighter and faster than these skins, especially on low end hardware.

                                      Is this a major miui update or not ? Becase xiaomi said that redmi note will get three miui updates so will this be counted ?

Nowadays even skinned ones are great and you can't really go wrong except Huawei's software. Coloros, funtouchos, and others except oxygenos used to be trash, (very different from stock, slow, uses a lot of resources, full of bloatwares, etc) but now, they are very damn good. (fast, lightweight, fluid, easy, uses less resources, and even so, pack more features than even stock android). So i wouldn't complain about software of any phones. The only problem is software support. MIUI gets the most/longest software updates (not as fast as oxygen, but longer support, so i prefer it). I love all skins except the oxygenos on the Oneplus Nord N10 and N100. How the h**l can an phone be supported for just 1 year? And when they launch it is even on android 10,not even 11. What a shame
