You also obviously have no clue on the details of this case. Apple submitted photo shopped evidence again and again faced no legal action for falsified evidence, they came up with two completely different stories on the iPhone design, they are using actual patents from samsung, and Samsung is in the wrong trying yo miss lead the courts?
Not to mention the shape in question was not even their own. Not to mention apple trying to accuse a company of stealing is like the devil trying to accuse some of being evil.

This industry was so much better when Nokia, Sony and HTC were the leaders. Samsung tainted the industry when they started copying others (Moto, Blackberry, Apple) instead of being original.
Also, anybody actually read some of the stuff from the trial. Samsung is so sleazy for trying to sue for the communication chip. Samsung licensed it to Intel. Intel sold the chips to Apple and, since those chips are in the iPhone, Samsung decided to sue. Wow.

Innovation is different from Invention and i feel very sorry for telling you this small difference you didn't notice.
How exactly Litigation is Unhealthy ?
Get some maturity.
They are trying to ban the clones and copycats which makes future products innovative for consumers instead of having a original device and 2 copycats beside it.
Now , companies like Samsung do two of following things :
1.Pay royalties and make products (like Microsoft paying apple or Apple paying to Nokia) instead of stealing them.
2.Invent their own stuff and get creative , so one need not pay royalties and fee , but can sell devices by their own will.
So , This news is good for consumers as they are going to see innovative products instead of clones.
If you are going to argue "rectangular shaped devices bla bla".How can u make device without having square icons bla bla
See Lumia 900 , it looks nothing like iPhone and its completely unique , it doesn't have grid of icons.
Its design also very unique and feels far from anything rival products.

This is a loss but i will continue to push my samsung as a way superior device to apple products. I know my stuff and when it all boils down to it samsung has it 100 percent. this result just make me more prone to boycott applke products from my home.

I want to buy the new iPhone but many of the folk i know where pretty pissed when the news come out in apples favour..Apple are a greedy company proven by how much money they have in bank..Are Apple ethical in their greed conquest..I may like their phones but disgusted at the company.

While I do see that the first galaxy s had too much resemblance, this has gone way too far especially with the illogical patents. US patent office is the real person to blame.. why did they grant those ridiculous patents in the first place? as much as I hate apple for abusing the system, if i was the ceo of apple i would do so too...

It's funny how this war is being waged only against Samsung...what about Nokia or Sony or LG or HTC or Motorola? Their devices are also bar-shaped and they have pinch-to-zoom but I guess nobody noticed that there isn't much you can do about the shape and style of a touch-based device these days.

Litigation = Unhealthy
To those blathering on about copying, the fact that you patent something does not mean you created it but only that you registered it first. In truth, Apple has hardly invented anything which makes its nerve of continually suing ridiculous.

I am a die-hard fan of both Apple & Samsung. I do not agree with the verdict. Samsung alone cannot be balmed. Apply also partially responsible.

Don't understand what this copy cat or infrigement is. I'm still using a Depod phone OS Window 6.0. I am using touch screen rounded or square phone years before iphone is in the market. Phone technology wise HTC, Samsung, Nokia & Motorola are leaders inovators. Dont understand what origin iphone has to contribute.
