i agree apple hasn't invented any alien or nerve wrecking technology but what did samsung do?

those who said apple was afraid of samsung well if someone copies your work and innovation gives it for low cost for people(low cost coz it didn't had to think much) what will you do
people think apple won in home country but it claimed 1.05 bil rather than the demanded 2.5 bil

I have the opportunity of using the iPhone 4s and the best of Samsung Galaxy S3 and this is my take on the verdict;
1. The refusal by the judge to include evidence that there phones with rounded rectangular shapes pre -iPhones amounts to a mis trial and a rigging of the outcome
2. The jurors under the British Legal system are but assessors whose decision is persuasive on the judge and not final...Americans should borrow a leaf. What with jurors who follow celebrities enough to ignore all counts ...RiP Michael Jackson
3. The jurors all had iPhones, it should have been a deliberate criteria that some Samsung using jurors were selected.
4. Apple has since copied -
a) the drop down notification bar of Android which Jobs hated
b) a weather widget which is poorly copied
c) a dual core processor, 1GB ram, and soon, 4inch screen
5. Apple falls behind Samsung on the following-
a) price and value for money
b) additional memory
c) Siri does only American maps and is no good in Africa yet the S Voices works
d) Can't play multiple video formats
e) You can't copy and paste files
f) pictures though clear are deglamourised and are not sharp on colors.

What needs to be considered is the fact Apple employ Samsung for the manufacture of iPhone components. That said, after this ruling Apple may look elsewhere if they can't do business with Samsung any longer, which may push up their prices, if they were not high enough already. Samsung will continue as they are in the main, but the money paid to Apple is an inconvenience, and Apple do not really need that cash. The US market is a big one, but is not the be all and end all for Samsung by a long way. It is a shame that these two corporate entities can't work together, but I am not surprised. Overall, I think Apple's action is unfair and limiting for progression and development, but I don't think Samsung will suffer too much in the long run. Shameful from both parties, moreso Apple as prosecutors.

I don't know whats worse. This verdict or that idiots actually believe that Apple invented all this stuff. Ninety five percent of the patents Apple eludes to were done first, but they ended up patenting it later on. Everyone seems to forget Windows Mobile 6.1.
