This is stupid as many manufactures use the same designe for many products made today. This is not the original designe of apple. There were many products manufactured with same designe even before apple made its first iphone. If US patent providers did not see that before give patent to Apple for which was not origenally theirs it is their fault Or there should be case on Apple by US patent providers for misguiding them for to obtain such patent. It is a mockery of the law any one can see it than why not juery in this case. But its a shame.
Tomorrow there should be the case on all the companies which start with 'A' as apple uses A as the first letter for their company's name.

Samsung also lost on the Multi-touch patents!
I'm so happy. Now Apple will not settle and have multi-touch removed from Android devices.
No more pinch to zoom, no more twist to rotate, no more multitouch. Android will soon suck so bad! HAHAHA!
WP8 will look better and better. MS signed a deal with Apple so they won't be suing each other while Samsung refused to license when Apple offered it in 2010.
Samsung is like a thief. I'm glad they were convicted of the crime they did. Samsung tried to get away with it but the jury voted unanimously in favor of Apple.
Google keeps copying features and then call it innovation. I'm glad they got nailed on those multitouch patents.
Elop's decision to go WP is really a wise decision.
GO Apple! Go Nokia! Go MS!
I hope Nokia sues Samsung soon and make them pay even more.

Perhaps HTC (and any other more "original" companies) can take advantage of this verdict; design more advanced and innovative versions of the Samsung phones going on recall and release them around the time they start getting pulled. I doubt, in any case, that this will be a giant loss for Samsung or win for Apple.

Apple might have won, but that doesn't prove anything. Still, iPhone sucks and gs3 is still the king. And besides, 1 billion dollar is just the money Samsung hide under their sofa.
Google now have it's cross hair aimed at Apple's head. Time for a counter attack, android style.

I'm using Samsung s2x none of the area looks like iphone but when I look at this picture... oh well it's fair... hope no more copy... Samsung made have good money to pay designer please be creative.. btw, never found iphone looked good and it's getting more than bored and outdated anyway...

The best part here is that Samsung will concentrate on changing the icon and other designs. This will bring in new UI and User Experience.
Be it Samsung or Apple, Win or Lose. There's always a good thing for the consumer.
I'm kinda bored with the same UI in both iPhone and Android. Need a change
