But this is terrible, FB, Twitter and Google must be feeling that the Democrats will protect them and all the talk about breaking them up is gone now. I certainly hope not.

There is a price to pay for free apps, especially ones like WhatsApp that have no ads. Maybe they could charge a fee for WhatsApp for people who don't want their data shared. I personally use WhatsApp dozens of times a day for years and have never paid a penny. It's astonishing when you think about it. How did they manage to stay in business?
