The zoom shots are done differently. It might not entirely depend on the main sensor.
Read the para where GSMARENA does addition tests of shooting full resolution images.

There might be few HDR with 8bit I guess. But then HDR content would not look good.

Because of the 2 zoom lens and one at 10x zoom.
DxO has suspiciously given lot of points for zoom camera. So who had best zoom camera was likely to win even if main cam had less performance.

The problem with Samsung is, they never really push the ISP of Exynos because of SD version lacking.
This is one of the thing Why I hate 2 version. We get all the lacking of the Exynos but do not get any advantages.
